When she opened her eyes, she found herself alone in the room, the door of the wardrobe wide open, showing various dresses at her own disposal and on the nightstand next to her she had her breakfast with a dark red rose next to the plate which brought a shy smile on her face.
After eating, she went downstairs in the main salon, wearing a simple strapless velvet dress with corset, ending above the knees, with black laces, on top of which she took a long black coat to keep her warm. She put on the shoes from the previous night, but she felt more confident now. The servants who helped her get dressed that day used coal as make up for her eyes and a red powder obtained from roses for her lips. The small golden clip on earrings complemented her looks.
