Dei: Just stay still, Elain, I am almost done. I appreciate you let me put some make up on your face. This roses-powder should do it.
She had never seen herself so changed, being more of the natural look type, and the makeup her sister had forced on her indeed surprised her.
Ela: Only tonight.
Dei: Now, my sister is ready. You are so beautiful!
The long flowing satin dress which left her shoulders and back uncovered really complemented her looks. Deianeira was wearing the exact dress but in white, and she had asked for Elain to help her put her makeup as well since she had no reflection.
Ela: Darion will kill for you.
Dei: That is my intention.
Ela: Drive him madder than he already is?
There was a knock on the door and Darion and Eden entered the room, both wearing shirts matching the girl's dresses.
Dr: Ready to have some fun?
Upon offering their arms to the girls, they headed down the stairs covered in golden carpets, leading to the groundfloor.
Ed: Father did really try his best tonight.
Ela: Will Ramisu join us?
Dr: Yes and it seems he will come alone.
Every servant they passed by would lower their head in obedience. From downstairs, an orchestra was playing a sonata and, when they got to the ballroom, their eyes fell on the huge tables on which countless golden bottles and glasses laid. There was a smaller table facing all the other tables and this table was decorated with flower ornaments, lit candles and golden arm-chairs. The boys waited at the entrance.
Ela: Why aren't we entering?
Rm: Because we are waiting for him to come and take his sit first.
Ramisu appeared in his black suit and dark red shirt, his hair tied in a lower tail, and Elain could not take her eyes off him. The make up only enhanced her vampire traits and her betrothal could not look away either, surprised by her newly found beauty.
Rm: How long did Deianeira chase you to make you look so ravishing?
Ela: Not enough apparently, since she wanted to add some more.
Her laugh filled Ramisu's heart, only she could bring him joy in such dark times.
L: Well, are we ready to enjoy ourselves tonight? It is the first time the family comes together.
Leon was accompanied by their old friend Elive and when the girls saw her they found it difficult not to raise any suspicions. It was one of the few times they were actually thankful to Lyserg.
