When Mogu mentioned the "Fetus Hour Exhibition," Dong Hua was torn. Part of him wanted to praise his mount for the creativity, but he knew his mount had been testing his limits since the deed transfer of mount ownership.

"Mogu, just call them her friends." Dong Hua knew his little fox would want him to be patient with Mogu who was still healing from his serious injuries.

Mogu nodded with a low grumble from his throat. "Mistress went to see her fetus friends. At the fetus festival."

Dong Hua just shook his head. At this rate with how close she was to Mogu, it would only take a few days for her to start referring to her own friends as fetuses.

"Mogu, your mistress is impressionable. We have spoken about you being mindful with the language you use around her."

It was also still a mystery to Dong Hua who the ballsack boys were to his little fox. He had tried to push aside his jealous worries about how many boys there were and why there was mention of testicles.

"Dijun," she whispered. Her soft voice brought him back to how he was in the sad situation of having to leave her in the care of her fetus friends. Dong Hua internally cringed at how the beast's vernacular was starting to take shape in the almighty god's mind.

"I will leave Her Highness here and expect that you will all protect her with your lives," he said coldly as he looked over into the White Lotus Pond.

"Yes, of course, Your Lordship" they replied in unison.

He turned to her. "Xiao Bai, I will be over there reading," he nodded over towards a garden. He looked down at her and tucked a strand of wayward hair behind her ear. "Be good."

She nodded.

Before Dong Hua could leave, Jiang Yu mustered as much courage as he possibly could and stepped forward to put his hands together into a deep bow.

"Dong Hua Dijun, my grandfather is hosting a small evening banquet tonight and I was hoping to invite you and Princess Feng Jiu to attend."

Her friends were all shocked that he spoke up. Jiang Yu had always been the most timid out of all of his friends.

Dong Hua regarded the Celestial toddler for a moment before answering. "Your grandfather has already sent word to me." His tone gave nothing away about if he had accepted the invitation or not.

"My grandmother is having some of the finest pastries the Nine Heavens has ever had baked especially for this banquet."

The little highness gasped.

Dong Hua shot Jiang Yu a cold glare. He should not have underestimated this shameless baby doctor. Of course the little rascal would try to lure her with food. He had no choice now but to accept the invitation. If he didn't he would never hear the end of it from her. She was likely to use the term "cock-blocked" in her endless tirades.

He knew his little fox enjoyed being around anything festive and that was not something he could organically provide for her.

She stepped up to him and gently tugged on his sleeve. "Dijun, can we go?" she whispered.

He melted under her uncertain but hopeful gaze. "Of course we'll go."

Jiang Yu and all of her friends had been holding their breaths. They were all glad to release the pent up air. Shen Wu turned his face to the side as he sighed his relief so as not to blow the food off the table with the wind in his lungs.

She excitedly clasped her small hands together in front of her chest. "Yes!"

She smiled at her librarian.
