Taylor looked out at the thousands of fans in the stadium in awe. Every seat for tonight's show was filled. It was yet another sold-out show and Taylor felt overjoyed just thinking about her fans and the dedication and the love her fans always show.

The sea of lights, the screams and cheers of her name, and the love in her heart for each and every fan seated in the area were beautifully overwhelming.

But she couldn't help but feel like one thing was missing. It feels like this at every show, the missing piece of the puzzle always being that you weren't anywhere in sight.

It wasn't your fault. She knew it wasn't like you didn't want to be there. You call her every night from the safety of your bunk or the free time you have in the midst of the chaos that comes with being in the military and you always remind her how proud you are of her and how you wish you could be there.

The difference between all those nights and tonight was that you were actually there. Nowhere in Taylor's sight, though. You were backstage, sneaking in with Ellen and Tree's help, to surprise her sometime tonight. You were just patiently waiting for the signal to go out and surprise your girl and reunite with her for the first time in several long months.

Taylor thanked the fans with tears swimming in her eyes. She was about to proceed to go into the speech that she gives before singing delicate... the song that always makes her think of you.

Her heart longed for you and for some reason, it was all hitting her a little harder than usual tonight.

But she brushed it off and parted her lips to speak when she was interrupted by a figure running on stage.

It was Ellen and Taylor let out a few giggles before hugging her.

"I had no idea this was happening! Why are you here?" Taylor wondered, but there was no mistaking the hopeful and happy look in her big blue orbs.

"Well, hello to you, too, Taylor," Ellen joked before playfully rolling her eyes, causing a happy giggle to fall from Taylor's lips. "Were you surprised to see me?"

"Yeah!" Taylor grinned.

"What if I told you that I actually am not the big surprise tonight? That I have someone here with me that I brought along for you?"

Taylor furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, wondering what she was up to.

"Your girlfriend has been in contact with me for the last week or so,"

You being mentioned made the fans in the crowd scream loudly.

"And," Ellen waved her hand to cut herself off before saying, "You know what? Instead of talking about it, why don't I just show you?"

Suddenly, the screams grew louder and Taylor looked away from Ellen, awestruck when she saw you making your way on stage.

It felt like time had stopped and the world stopped spinning. It was so surreal!

She ran to you and threw her arms tight around you. She couldn't stop the tears from falling down her cheeks, a sob falling from her lips as she buried her face in your neck and cried from the happiness she felt.

"You're here! I can't believe it." She cried and all you could do was rub her back and hold her tight.

You had tears swimming in your eyes, a rush of joy coming over you as your heart nearly beat out of your chest. You're holding her again... like you've wanted to do so badly from the moment you had to part.

"I'm here, Tay. I'm right here and I'm so proud of you."

She squeezed you a little tighter before pulling away. Her lips hit your own and though there were almost sixty thousand people in the stadium, it almost felt like the world ceased to exist. Sparks were flying, her heart was pounding, her hands were shaking, but it was all from the happiness she felt.

"I love you. I've missed you."

"Missed you too," she cried. "And I love you, y/n."

You hugged her again and closed your eyes. Even with all the eyes on you, all the people capturing the moment between you and Taylor, nothing else existed to you besides her.

You had a lot of catching up to do, a lot more hugging and kissing to make up for all the months apart and to show her how much you love and miss her.

But you have all the time in the world together now and you weren't letting go of her, planning to stand in that moment and soak in every second by her side, at last.
