The sound of the front door closing and Taylor's sweet voice as she called out your name brought a smile onto your face. You stood in the kitchen, a delicious aroma in the air of the special dinner you made for the both of you to eat together tonight.

It's her first of many days off starting this evening because Christmas is just around the corner and you're excited to spend every minute by her side.

"Y/n? Where are you?"

"Kitchen!"

She followed your voice and walked into the room. She giggled as she looked around, admiring some of the Christmas decorations you put up.

"So cute and cozy." She said as she walked over to you. "And it smells so good in here. you made my favorite?" She asked happily as she put her arms around you and hugged you close.

"I did. It's the first of many days we get to spend together and I wanted to make it special."

"It's perfect, baby. Thank you."

She leaned in to steal a kiss, but you put your index finger over her lips.

"Not yet. I have something else to make this evening even more special."

You hung the mistletoe over your heads and she glanced up at it. A few giggles fell from her soft, kissable lips. She stared back at you and moved her hands to the small of your back. She pulled you as close as she could and dropped her forehead onto yours.

"You're just so cute," she smiled, kissing across your cheek and laughing as you giggled in her arms. "So endearing and sweet."

One last kiss to your forehead, she pulled back and brushed a few hairs behind your ear. You were staring at her with your eyebrows raised but she could tell there was also a growing smile on your face.

"You missed!"

She leaned in, finally kissing your lips. She moved her lips passionately against your own, making sure it was the most wonderful kiss under the mistletoe that you could possibly share.

"I love you so much, y/n. Happy early Christmas."

"Happy early Christmas, Tay. I love you too," you spoke before hooking your fingers under her chin and pulling her back in for a few more kisses.
