Taylor tried to grab your wrist as you ran up the stairs and slammed the door behind you.

She groaned and slammed her hand down on the table. She knew she had messed up. Truthfully, the fight was stupid anyway and to make it all worse it was started by her. It didn't take long for it to escalate from a few snide comments after her bad day at the studio. You, of course, argued back and the whole thing was made into a way bigger situation than it should've been.

She chewed on her lower lip and picked at the polish on her nail as she racked her brain for what she knew she needed to say to you. But she shook her head, realizing it didn't matter what she said exactly, just as long as you knew she was sorry.

The sound of your cries when Taylor reached the bedroom door broke her heart. She never likes seeing you sad, every teardrop that fell from your eyes always made her feel terrible, and knowing that this time she was the cause of them made the guilt she had already felt overwhelming.

She reached for the knob but when she turned it she realized it was locked. She sighed and put her head on the door. "Y/n? Can you please open the door?" She heard you sniffle. "Just let me explain..." she said softly, waiting a few seconds to finally hear the lock turn.

When she opened the door she saw you standing there with tears in her eyes. She opened her mouth, ready to tell you how sorry she was until you threw your arms around her. "I'm sorry." You cried as you clung to her, scared to let her go.

Taylor wrapped both of her arms around making you feel secure and safe, despite the fight and the words you threw at each other.

"I'm sorry too. I had a bad day and I took it out on you, which is wrong. The things that I said were uncalled for and I'm so sorry I said them to you, I swear I didn't mean it." She felt you pull away and then felt your thumb brush across her cheek, catching the tears she didn't even know had fallen.

"I forgive you. I'm sorry for what I said too. Forgive me?" Your lips turned into a pout and Taylor couldn't help but smile. "Already forgiven." She kissed your cheek, watching closely as your lips tugged up from a pout and into a grin.

You took her by her hand and led her to the bed, sitting down on the edge before putting your head on her lap. "Tell me about your day. I'm here to listen."

Taylor shook her head with a soft smile. "No. I don't even wanna think about. I'm home with you now and things are better already. I just wanna be with you." She leaned down, capturing your lips with hers. "Okay. But if you change your mind, I'm here."

She nodded as she rested her head on yours and put her arm around you. "I know. You always are, and I'm thankful for that. I love you so much."

"Love you too, Tay." She smiled, feeling grateful that everything was back to normal now.
