you have cramps

You felt miserable.

You couldn't seem to find a position that seemed comfortable enough to lay in because your cramps were just terrible.

On top of that, you're drained of energy and your heating pad, which seems to be the only thing that took your cramps away, had been misplaced and you couldn't find it. You didn't even have the energy to look for it.

You groaned and rolled back onto your side and pulled your knees up to your chest.

You heard the front door close downstairs followed by footsteps on the stairs. "Y/n?"

You let out a sigh of relief when you heard Taylor's voice. Finally, she was home from the studio, and as soon as she entered the room and saw you laying in the fetal position in bed she was by your side in a heartbeat.

"Y/n what's wrong?"

"I'm on my period and I have really bad cramps." You whimpered and clutched her hand in yours, something about the feeling of her fingers wrapped in yours brought you a small comfort.

Taylor brushed her fingers through your hair. She wanted to ask you why you didn't call her and tell her you weren't feeling well so she could've come home sooner to help you feel better. But that wasn't important right now. What was important was helping you feel better and getting your cramps to go away.

"What can I do? Do you need some medicine?"

Your eyes were tightly squeezed shut, lips pulled into a frown that just hasn't seemed to go away since you woke up this morning. "I really could use my heating pad. But I can't find it. It's not in my usual spot for it and I'm too tired and sore to get up and look for it." You explained and Taylor pressed a kiss to your temple.

Taylor let go of your hand and made it her mission to find your heating pad, even if she'd have to tear the room apart to find it.

Thankfully though, that wasn't necessary. Taylor remembered soon after that she had borrowed it last time she was in her music room because she had some pretty intense cramps herself that day but had to get a song written, so your heating pad seemed like the cure for her as well.

Taylor went to her music room and grabbed it for you before coming back to you. She plugged it in and put it under your shirt before she laid beside you.

She pushed some hair away from your neck, kissing your warm skin softly and lovingly.

"How's that, darling? Any better?" She asked you a few minutes later, satisfied and thankful when you nodded your head yes.

"I'm glad, beautiful girl. You still tired?"

"Yeah," you whispered as you reached for her hand again, smiling a little when she laced your fingers together and ran her thumb over your knuckles in soft circles. "Go to sleep then. I'm right here with you and if you need anything you just say the word, I'll get it for you."

She listened to your breathing, feeling relieved when it evened out, meaning you had fallen asleep.

"Love you, baby girl. Sweet dreams." She whispered, kissing your cheek a few times before leaning her head on yours and soon falling asleep with you, both of you finally feeling warm and content.
