Her ex wants to get back together

You stood backstage with Taylor. The award show was starting soon but Taylor was so obsessed with the dress you wore that she could barely focus on anything else.

The mumbling of sweet nothings in your ear was interrupted by a voice Taylor recognized all too well. "Taylor?" She turned her head to find her ex-girlfriend, Chloe, standing there. "Uh, Chloe, what are you doing here?"

"I'm working in the crew tonight. I honestly really hoped that I'd see you here." Taylor shifted uncomfortably on her feet. "I've really missed you, Taylor." Taylor shook her head, wanting her to stop while she was ahead. You, on the other hand, felt nervous and afraid.

You knew the history they had. The relationship ended a few months ago because she cheated on Taylor. She's tried to get back in contact with Taylor, so much so that Taylor had to block her number and social media handles.

You reached for Taylor's hand, both out of your own fear and because you could also sense that she's uncomfortable. "Taylor I know I made a mistake but I miss you, so much. Can you give me another chance? We can work things out."

She acted as if Taylor's hands weren't practically all over you just moments ago.

Taylor scoffed at her. "No. Never in a million years would I ever get back with you. I'm much happier with my girlfriend, y/n than I ever was with you." Taylor said as she protectively wrapped her arms around you. "Come on babydoll. We've got better things to do." Taylor walked with you to the opposite side of the room and when she looked at you she saw you smirking at her.

"What?" You giggled and wrapped your arms around her. "Nothing. I just really love it when you get protective of me. Besides, I was a little afraid that she'd get you back." Taylor pulled you in for a sweet kiss. "Never. I love you so much."

You looped your arms around her neck and kissed her again. "I love you too, Tay" you muttered against her lips causing her to smile into the kiss. And when she pulled away, she began to whisper sweet nothings back in your ear again.

"You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. How'd I get so lucky?" She asked making you smile. "I ask myself the same thing."
