you send her a care package when she's on tour (requested)

Taylor sat on her chair in her dressing room with her guitar in her lap. She was mindlessly strumming a few random chords and humming softly to herself. But the sound of a knock on her door interrupted her.

"Taylor? There's a package from your girlfriend."

Taylor instantly started to smile as the package was placed in front of her. "Thank you!" She yelled to the security guard who walked out of the door quickly and left Taylor to excitedly rip the package open.

What she saw melted her heart.

Inside was some of her favorite things; ranging from her favorite candies to a new movie she'd been wanting to see, to some DVDs of friends that she knew she'd be binging on her time off.

She also saw a little teddy bear inside with a little heart. Taylor saw there was a letter attached. She excitedly ripped it open and there she saw a card, one you had obviously made yourself, making it even more sentimental.

'Tay, I wanted to send you some of your favorite things because I know you've been missing me and home a little, and I thought this would cheer you up a bit. Know that I'm missing you like crazy but I'm enjoying watching some of the videos your fans post and, per usual, you're doing absolutely wonderfully. I'm so proud of you and I can't wait to see you soon. I love you to the moon and back. You amaze me every single day.'

Taylor had tears in her eyes. She pulled out her phone and she called you. "Hey, baby girl!" You answered making her let out a watery chuckle.

"Baby, I got the package."

She heard you giggle. "Do you like it?"

"Like it? Y/n I love it! It made my day. And that card..." She sniffled, wiping the tear from her eye. "It was so thoughtful. I love you so much. You really do know how to make me feel better, don't you?"

"I just know my girl."

She bit her lip and grinned. "I miss you."

"I miss you so much more. But I'll be seeing you really soon."

Her eyes went wide. "Oh yeah? How soon are we talking?" She asked, slightly hoping it was soon. "I can't tell you, it'd ruin the surprise! But just trust me. Very soon." She nodded, wiping a tear from her cheek as she looked over all the candy and tried to decide what to eat first.

"I know you have a show to get ready for soon so I'm gonna let you go. But call me afterward, okay? Know that I'm cheering you on from home. I'll be watching all the videos. You're amazing, Taylor, keep it up. I'm so very proud of you."

"Okay. I love you so much." She murmured, already picturing the smile on her face that she knew was just as wide as her own.

"I love you too."

She hung up and let another tear fall. She was the happiest she's felt all day.

She couldn't help but wonder when you were planning that surprise visit. She really couldn't wait, but until then she had the goodies, the bear, and the thoughtful card to get her through.
