You grinned from ear to ear as Taylor came back into the living room with a bowl of popcorn in her hands. You already had Netflix set up, with a show you've both been waiting for a day off to watch together.

And that day had finally come around. You're both over the moon about it; looking forward to a day where you can just spend time together, wrapped in each other's arms and stealing kisses whenever your heart desired.

As soon as she was sitting down beside you she was leaning in to brush her lips against your cheek for a sweet kiss before putting her arm around you. You pressed play on the tv, ready for your day of fun to begin.

"I've missed you so much," Taylor whispered softly in your ear as you put your head down on her shoulder, only to lift it again so you could steal a kiss from her lips.

"I've missed you too, Tay, and I love you so much."

She smiled at you, causing your heart to skip a beat, like always. She pushed her lips onto yours again, planning to move her lips a little more fiercely against your own than the previous kiss you'd shared.

However, the feeling of Benjamin jumping onto your lap made you jump and pull away. He meowed and brushed his head against your hand, making you pull it away from Taylor's to pet him instead.

"Hey!" Taylor frowned. "That's not fair. You've been spending time with her all week, getting a bunch of pets and love." She teased and Benjamin quickly moved across your lap to go to hers, while Olivia jumped up to sit beside you and Meredith jumped up to get on the back of the sofa.

It melted your heart to see Taylor cooing to Benjamin as he meowed and purred against her. You put your head back on her shoulder and closed your eyes with a contented sigh falling from your lips as a rush of happiness came over you.

This is what you've been needing. You haven't been as happy ll week as you are right now, curled up and cuddled with your cute little family.

You nearly fell back asleep from how cozy you felt. But when Taylor booped your nose playfully, you opened your eyes.

"Falling asleep on me already?" She teased before leaning over to brush the tip of her nose against yours for a cute little Eskimo kiss.

"No. Just cozy and happy, that's all."

She reached for the blanket that hung over the back of the sofa, managing to pull it past Meredith without waking her. She placed it over your lap, making sure you were as warm as can be.

But you already were. You threw on your cardigan before you came downstairs and she had her arm around you, making you even warmer than you already felt. Not to mention the warm feeling in your heart; it seemed to appear most when she'd giggle over the show or brush her fingertips along your bare skin whenever she could.

But still, it was a sweet thought, and it only made your heart melt more.

"Are you warm?"

"Very." You said, smiling a little as she leaned in to give you a few sweet and loving kisses on your lips. "I'm so happy. You're the greatest thing to ever happen to me, Taylor. Nothing makes me happier than you; than being here, curled up in your arms. These days are my favorites."

"I feel the same way, beautiful girl. I love you more than words can say." She mumbled before kissing your forehead softly.

You laid your head back down, but this time on her chest instead of her shoulder. She held you a little tighter, keeping you just a little warmer.

And soon, as the cats slept around you and you both basked in the comfort and happiness you both felt, you both drifted off to sleep with your head on your girlfriend's chest and hers resting on yours; holding you as close and as tight as she could, even in her peaceful slumber, where she dreamt about you.
