A little disclaimer - this idea was suggested to me and I really wanted to write it. Also, please remember this is all purely fictional and is never meant to offend anyone. Please don't forget that you're beautiful.

You threw the magazine down on Taylor's lap and put your hand on your hip. You're not necessarily angry over what you saw in there, but you're feeling a little insecure.

Taylor has been hanging out with this new girl and you do trust her, she's never given you a reason not to, but Taylor said she was going out to the studio that day - not out with a new friend, one that made you feel insecure.

"What? Am I not allowed to hang out with any other girls now?" She threw the magazine aside. "No, Taylor, you are. I'm not mad and I'm not jealous, either. But you told me you were going to the studio that day. Did you still go?" Taylor rolled her eyes at you. "No. I changed my mind."

You felt your heart sink a little. "You changed your mind? You'd rather hang out with her than with me?" Taylor groaned loudly. "I didn't say that! Don't twist my words on me, y/n!" She raised her voice and it made you jump. "I didn't-" "You know what we did, y/n? We went to the gym. Maybe you should try that sometime."

You felt tears sting your eyes as Taylor let out a sigh. "Wait, y/n, I didn't mean that-" you cut her off by running upstairs to your shared room and slamming and locking the door behind you. You threw yourself onto the bed and cried into your pillows, feeling ashamed and absolutely horrible about yourself.

You didn't unlock the door that night. When Taylor tried to come up to bed and went to turn the knob only to find it was locked she knew she'd really messed up. "Y/n, darling, please don't do this..." you didn't answer. You sat on the bed in tears. You've been second-guessing yourself all day long and you couldn't take any more of it.

"Okay. I'll sleep on the couch then. If you need anything lemme know. I'm so sorry for what I said. I love you." Nothing but silence. Taylor sighed sadly and walked back down to the couch, knowing that's probably where she'll be spending the next couple of nights.

You didn't get much sleep the night before and you left before Taylor woke up. You spent most of the day at the gym, working out on everything you possibly could. And you spent the next few days the same way.

Taylor didn't know where you'd been spending most of your time at. She's still been sleeping on the couch and though she misses you and she's worried about you, she bites her tongue and keeps it to herself because she's afraid asking you will only upset you further.

But one day everything took a turn for the worst. After spending the last week at the gym for hours upon hours, your body was exhausted. You felt different that morning but you went regardless.

But you knew something was really wrong. You felt dizzy and weak. Your body was miserable and was starting to break down from the lack of sleep and the stress and constant strain you've been putting on it. You got off of the treadmill when you felt like you could no longer stand. You saw the water fountain and decided to go get a few sips, thinking it was that you just need something to drink. But you had to hold onto the machine because everything was starting to look spotty.

A few people around you noticed how off you looked. A guy that was lifting weights put them on the ground and ran to you, and just in time. Because as soon as he reached you, you passed out. He yelled for someone to call 911 and someone did right away.

you woke up to a paramedic shaking your shoulder. "Ma'am?" You opened your eyes, your vision still a little spotty but you felt a little better. You tried to get up but the medic put his hand on your hip and told you to stay down. "What happened to me?"

"You passed out. You're very dehydrated and weak. Is there someone we can call to come to pick you up? If not, we can take you to the hospital." You didn't want to, but you knew who you had to call. "My girlfriend." Someone handed you your phone and you dialed her number, but when she answered you felt too tired to speak. The paramedic took the phone and explained the situation, which, of course, sent Taylor into a panic. "I'm on my way!"

She got there a few minutes later and the sight of you looking so weak broke her heart. She ran to you and sat down next to you. "Is she okay?" She reached for your hand, stroking your cheek and watching your eyelashes flutter as you slept. "She'll be okay. She's just dehydrated and her body is very frail right now. She needs rest. She needs to take things easy for a few days." Taylor nodded, a tear falling from her eye. She felt guilty. This is her fault. She's the reason why you're in this situation right now.

"I'll get her home." She gently picked you up and wrapped her arms around you and grabbed your things as she carried you out to the car. You slept the whole way home and when you woke up you were on the couch. There were a few pillows under your head to keep you propped up and a couple of blankets covered you. "You're awake" you heard Taylor say as she walked towards you with a glass of water in her hands.

She put it on the floor by you before she knelt down in front of you. "I don't know what to say other than I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. You wouldn't have passed out if it weren't for me. For what I said to you. I'm the worst girlfriend in existence. I'm so sorry, y/n." She started to cry but when she felt you reach for her hand she stopped. "It's okay-" "No. It's not okay. Look what you did to yourself because of me. You passed out y/n. they say you're dehydrated and you need to rest for a few days."

"And I know you'll take care of me while I do. Because that's what you do, Taylor. You take care of me and you love me. I know that you didn't mean what you said. I just took it too seriously and then I took it too far. I shouldn't have." Taylor shook her head and kissed your forehead. "No, don't say that. I get why you did this. I know I hurt your feelings and I'm so sorry. I swear to you that I never meant it. I could never mean that. I love you so much and it hurts to see you like this"

She paused when she felt your thumb under her eye, wiping her tears away as they fell. "When I got that call from the paramedics... it scared me. I know that I messed up. I need you to know that no matter what - I think you always look beautiful. You're the most beautiful girl I know and I'm so lucky that I get to call you mine, that I get to love you every day. You're beautiful inside and out and I don't ever want you to feel differently. Your body is so beautiful, darling. Please don't ever forget that."

You smiled and put your hand on her back to push her close to you. you pressed your lips to hers and she made sure you felt all the love she has for you throughout that kiss. When she pulled away she gazed into your eyes and told you that she loves you. "I love you too, Tay. I'll be okay. I promise."

She nodded. "Can I take you up to bed?" You bit your lip and fought back a smile. "Only on one condition." "Anything, babydoll. Name it, I'll do it." "You come with me." Taylor smiled and kissed you once more before picking you up and carrying you up to bed.

She laid down behind you and wrapped her arms across your stomach and held you as close as she could. She made sure you were nice and warm under the covers and that you were feeling okay before she buried her face in your neck. "I love you, beautiful girl. Just the way you are." You put your hand over hers on your stomach and closed your eyes. "I love you too."
