Taylor knew you were the one. In all honesty, she's known you're the one for as long as she can remember. It was only a couple of months into your relationship that she knew she'd fallen in love with you.

Taylor had put up walls around herself before she had met you that people had either struggled to break down or just didn't seem to care enough to try. But you were different. They had just fallen down around you on their own. There was just something different about you. She felt at ease, she felt happier than ever before. She has never loved someone as much and as deeply as she loves you.

But she didn't know back then that you'd become the best thing to ever happen to her. She always finds herself saying just how much she loves you and how she couldn't possibly love you more, but every day you find a way to prove her wrong.

Which is why she wants to begin the next chapter in your lives, in your beautiful love story.

She's had the ring for weeks now. She debated how to ask you. She's almost dropped down on one knee in front of you more times than she can count. But those were unsuspecting and sudden moments and she wanted this to be special while at the same time different.

And that's when the idea came to her. You love playing games. Why not propose to you through hangman?

"Are you bored?" She asked randomly as you were snuggled up to her on the couch as isn't it romantic played on the tv. You arched your eyebrow and laughed a little. "No? I happen to love this movie."

"Yeah, but we should play a game. Doesn't that sound fun?" She turned off the tv before you could even answer. She sat up and grabbed a few pieces of paper. "Okay, sure. What game? Should I choose?"

Taylor shook her head. Under normal circumstances, she'd leave it up to you, but not now when she has this all planned out. She's getting antsy and the ring that was in her pocket was making her anxious and excited. She just wanted to ask you already.

"No, we can play hangman." You nodded and watched as she drew a blank line for each letter. You noticed there were two different parts which made you assume there was a phrase instead of a word. "Okay. Go ahead," She instructed, knee bouncing slightly as you began to debate what to guess.

"Okay. Is there an e?"

You watched as she filled in the last letter of the last word. "How about an I?"

She drew an upside-down l making you sigh. "An a?"

You watched as she filled in the second letter of the first word.

You went with a few more guesses, hitting and missing a couple here and there. It was only when there were the m's and r's remaining that you stumbled.

You thought quietly for a minute. Your eyes scanned over the letters as you tried to think of what the phrase could possibly be. You let go of your lower lip from between your teeth when you realized what it was.

"Marry me?"

You expected Taylor to fill the letters in, but instead, she took your hand and got down on one knee on the floor in front of you. "I think I'm the one who's supposed to ask you that." She teased and cleared her throat as she held back her tears.

"I love you with all of my heart and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. Marry me?"

You burst into tears and looped your arms around her neck to bring her in for a loving kiss, your very first one as her fiancee.

She pulled away to slide the ring onto your finger and when she saw how beautiful it looked she lifted her head to stare up at you. With tears in her eyes, she brushed some of your hair back and rested her forehead on yours. "I can't wait for you to be my wife."

You sniffled. "I can't wait either." You hugged her tight and exhaled shakily, tears still falling from your eyes when you realized that Taylor would soon be your wife.
