Taylor tossed and turned in bed again. She's losing hope of getting any sleep at all tonight.

She turned back over with a groan. She pulled at her hair, starting to feel anxious and frustrated that she can't sleep.

She could hear your soft breaths coming from next to her. She put her hand on your back, your shirt slightly pulled up which allowed her to brush her fingers across your spine ever so lightly. "Taylor?" She heard your groggy voice and she pulled her hand away instantly, feeling guilty for waking you even though she never meant to.

"Why are you still up?" You asked as you rolled over to face her. You rubbed your eyes, trying to ignore how heavy your eyelids felt and how they kept trying to close. "Shh. It's okay, I just can't sleep. Go back to sleep, I'll be fine." You shook your head and fought hard to keep your eyes open.

"Is something on your mind, baby?" You reached for her hand and laced your fingers together. "No. I'm okay. Just can't sleep." You brought her hand to your lips, lightly brushing them across her soft hand a few times. "Is there something I can do to help you? I can go get you some water or I can rub your back or something."

"Or you could sing to me." Even though you felt tired you couldn't stop your cheeks from turning red. You don't sing around anyone but Taylor. You're always too shy and don't really think you have a good voice. But, since Taylor always tends to sing you to sleep when all else fails, you couldn't really say no. You knew she'd sing you to sleep in a heartbeat if you asked.

"Any particular song?" She shook her head. "Okay then." Taylor put her head on your shoulder and let you hold her the way she always loves to hold you when she sings to you.

You brushed her bangs back and ran your fingers through her hair. You started to sing Lover to her and you watched her smile when she heard your voice. "I love it when you sing" she whispered and held your hand, her eyelids starting to feel heavy as she began to feel sleepy.

You continued to sing until you knew she was asleep about ten minutes later. You leaned down to kiss her forehead and took a moment to truly admire how beautiful your girlfriend is. You stroked her cheek and watched the steady rise and fall of her chest as she finally slept peacefully while you held her.

"I love you so much, Tay." You said and hummed Cornelia Street quietly until you fell back asleep with Taylor curled up on your chest.
