Taylor looked back at the clock with a sigh. It was now after two am and she still couldn't sleep.

She felt slightly envious of you as you slept soundly like you've been doing for three hours now. She wasn't quite sure what to do.

She didn't wanna wake you, but as silly as it sounded she felt that she could easily fall asleep if you'd cuddle with her. Something about your cuddles always makes her feel better, even when she's not feeling great.

So, hesitantly, she reached across the bed. She let her hand gently fall to your back. Instead of shaking you awake, she rubbed your back. A smile appeared on her face when she heard you let out a few noises as you slowly woke up.

You looked at the clock first but regretted it when you saw the time. "Tay? What is it? Are you alright, baby?" You rolled over and caressed her face lightly. "I'm okay, I guess. I can't fall asleep though."

"Okay. What do you need? Some water? Or another fluffy blanket?" She closed her eyes, leaning into the soft touch of your hand on her cheek. "No. Actually I could just use some cuddles from my girl."

"I can do that!" you instantly moved closer to her and when Taylor's head fell to your shoulder she couldn't stop the sigh of relief falling from her lips. She'd been tossing and turning for hours and to finally feel relaxed felt so good.

A few minutes went by and you hadn't really heard her say anything since. "Feeling better now?" She hummed, the vibration hitting your neck. She was content there in your arms. "Yeah, baby. I'm feeling much better now. Thank you."

She was starting to fall asleep; you could tell by her voice. So you let your own eyes close. You felt her kiss your neck before she mumbled quietly. "Goodnight, y/n. I love you."

"Love you too, Tay. Sweet dreams." You mumbled back as you rubbed her back and fell asleep, feeling better yourself with her there in your arms, sound asleep like she deserved.
