Matt's POV:
After spending the past couple hours laughing with the guys, I smiled when I went to grab a little snack from the kitchen when I heard a familiar voice walk into the firehouse. "Erin, I promise. I saw him. This was not one of my PTSD hallucinations." Erin laughed when he said that. "Then prove it to me that Matt is back in town." I then decided to walk over to her and smiled. "I think you mean Chief Casey?" Erin then looked at me and was shocked. "Holy shit. You were right Jay?" I laughed when she said that and then saw her baby bump. "Due date?"

Erin smiled as I walked up to her and hugged her. "Our second wedding anniversary." I smiled and agreed. "How was your vow renewal last year? Did Hank give you the wedding of your dreams and get to walk you down the aisle?" Erin agreed and smiled. "I wanted to come by and see the new Chief." I agreed and smiled at her. "By the way, your husband is going to be busy from now on. I am going to be working directly with him when CPD gets involved. I would rather work with the two of them. Oh and by the way, your cousin is doing good I guess?"

Erin nodded and smiled. "That's right. How is Wally? And please let me see a picture." I nodded and agreed as I went to grab my phone. Giving it to them, I smiled. They then both looked at our 3 kids and were in awe. "Wow, your daughter is the spitting image of Gabby. Even though she was born via surrogate." I nodded and agreed. "Yeah, Gabby's egg...Jesse's body." We both agreed and smiled when I said that. "By the way Jay, I thought you say no baby until 2023." Jay then bit his lip and got nervous. "No, it was another New York trip?"

Jay nodded and agreed. "How about you go sit down with Severide Er? You need rest." Erin agreed and smiled as she went to sit down. I then decided to follow her and smiled. "So, when is Hank putting you on desk duty?" Erin laughed. "Depends who you ask. You want my answer, Hank's answer or Jay's answer?" I laughed when she said that. "Jay, when you putting her on desk duty?" Jay then sighed. "I want her on desk in May. That means she'll be 7 months. She's due August 30th." I smiled when he said that.

Jay stared at me when I smiled. "No, you aren't going for 4!" I then stared at him and shook my head. "No, not at all. That's just Matteo's 2nd birthday." Erin nodded and agreed. "Right, you have 3 kids under 18 months right now." I nodded and agreed. "I also basically have 2 newborns. Ella came out a couple pounds below minimum. Had to stay in the hospital for a week after Jesse left." Jay nodded and agreed. "That sucks. Wait, she give birth in San Juan?" I nodded and agreed. "Unfortunately, we were at the beach when we got the news."

Erin then stared at me. "How is it unfortunate?" I sighed and shook my head. "Wrong news. We got the news about Boden while we were on the beach. Well, me, Antonio, Matteo and Ella." Jay sighed and nodded. "Wait, did he die before or after Wally was born?" I sighed. "2 days before. Gabby went into labour the day I was going to fly out for the funeral. That's why I couldn't be here. Sorry but witnessing the birth of my last child wins over a funeral. No offence." Hermann then when to sit across from us and nodded. "Hey, I get it. Nothing like it."

I smiled when I looked at Jay and Erin. "But we're done now. Meanwhile, I want to ask you about your PTSD. How is it Jay?" I then went to look at Lucky as she sat next to him. "And she's what now? 2 years old?" Jay shook his head. "18 months. I got her as a puppy." We both agreed and smiled. "By the way, where's Olivia?" Erin smiled when I asked that. "She's at the daycare. Willow goes there too. Still don't get how Will and Natalie are working right now." I nodded and understood. "How are they anyways? Heard it hasn't been all sunshine and roses recently."

Jay sighed when I asked that. "He's been sleeping at our place a lot. I keep thinking they are going to make it but...I keep also thinking the only reason they got married was because of the baby. The relationship wasn't working much when they got pregnant." I sighed and nodded. "Hey, I get it. It was the same for me at the end of my marriage. Now listen, I want to make sure I get this straight. You are my contact at CPD right Jay?" Jay nodded and agreed. "Oh, send my congrats to Antonio and Sylvie." I shook my head. "Next month she's due. I think on the 8th."

Jay smiled and agreed when I heard the bells go off. "Truck, Squad, Ambo, Engine. Backup requested at 3 South Halsted St." I then looked at Jay. "You bring bad luck sometimes." I then went to rush to grab my radio and then made my way out to the Jeep so we could all get going.

Jay's POV:
After the firehouse left, I sighed as I turned to look at Erin. "I guess we do bring bad luck sometimes." Erin nodded and agreed as she turned to look at me. "Listen, we've been out long enough. If we don't get back in time...Platt is going to be all over me to get back to work." Erin nodded and smiled as she went to get up. "I think you mean us. I may be staying out of the field but, I am still working at the district." I sighed and agreed with her. "C'mon Lucky. Let's get to work." That's when I saw her try and go grab a toy.

I then shook my head. "No, that's not yours girl. That's Tuesdays'." Erin then looked at me. "There's a dog named Tuesday here?" I nodded and agreed. "Yeah, another ESD. Now listen, let's get out of here." Erin agreed and nodded as we walked out together, ready to head back to work.
