Chapter 103

30 Minutes Later - After eating as Matt finishes getting ready:
Matt's POV: Once I have my jacket on, I go to put my boots on at the door when I hear Gabby yell for me. "Babe, you remembered to grab his snowsuit right?" I then looked at the bench and agreed, seeing it in the bag. "Yeah, I have it here with me at the door. I was going to go start the van before we get in so it isn't cold." Gabby then came down in her jacket, carrying her gloves. "You already have the babies in their seats?" I nodded as I got up before looking at Gabby. "Yes, they are here at the door." Gabby smiled and nodded. "Good, that's everything then."

I then looked at her. "I was going to wait until you are down here to go outside. I have to go start the van and then bring our stuff out there. I have the baby bags, the cribs and stuff. I have to carry that outside. But, I forgot the cooler. Can you get that for me?" Gabby nodded and agreed as she got up before going to open the door. "Matteo, can you stay with mama while I pack the van?" Matteo then looked at me and nodded. "I'll watch sissy." I smiled and nodded as I went to rub his head. "Good idea. Just stay here." He nodded and agreed.

Once that was done, I went to grab the baby bag and the cribs. "I already have the baby bag and cribs okay Gabby?" Gabby then popped her head out of the kitchen and nodded. "Okay, just get out there and make sure the car is warm. And take Matteo with you please. I am in here getting water and getting the bottles. You forgot to grab the bottles I made." I then looked at her. "Sorry." Gabby smiled at me. "Matt, you got a lot of the stuff we need...don't worry about it." I laughed when she said that. "That's supposed to be my line. Be right back."

I then went to open the door and looked at Matteo. "C'mon Matteo." Matteo nodded and agreed as I led him outside to the van. Walking over with the keys, I went to open the doors and the back (automatically with the remote) before looking at Matteo as I walked to the back with him. "Can you get in your car seat in the back on your own buddy? I have to buckle you up after I put the cribs and bags in the van." Matteo nodded and agreed. "Okay papa!" He then went to run away to get in the van. Smiling as he did that, I went to walk over to the back before putting the cribs and baby bag down.

Once that was done, I made sure to make room for the groceries we were going to pick up for Antonio and Sylvie on the way. I then decided to put a bungee around the cribs to make sure it didn't slide and crush their groceries. God, I just hope they don't have too much. Finishing with that, I then went to walk over to Matteo's side of the van and got into the back. Walking in, I looked at Matteo as he got into his car seat. "Here, you need some help buddy?" Matteo nodded as he tried to do it but, wasn't able to.

Going to do up his straps, I then went to check they were tight before tickling him a bit. "Papa, stop!" Matteo then laughed and smiled. "Hey, papa has to take advantage of whatever chance he gets to have a bit of fun with you. Now, I am going to go help mama with your siblings okay? Stay right there and don't go anywhere." Matteo nodded and agreed as I went to get out. Walking out of the van and running back to the door, I saw Gabby with the kids. "You made sure to make room?" I nodded and agreed. Walking back into the house, I grabbed the bag with Matteo's snowsuit. "Can't forget this." Gabby nodded and smiled. "Which one do you want?"

I then smiled. "Give me Wally. He sits behind me after all." Gabby laughed and nodded. "Yeah, totally a coincidence that he always sits behind his dad and she always sits behind me." I nodded and agreed. "We have everything? Because then I can lock up." Gabby then looked at me. "You mean with the keys you left in the Van?" I then remembered that. "You have yours on you?" Gabby nodded as she went to grab them in her jacket. "Did you grab the toy bag for Matteo." That's when I remembered that. "Thank you. Here, give me your keys."

Gabby smiled and nodded as she gave me her keys before carrying Ella to the van. Meanwhile, I walked in to grab the toy bag in the living room. Slipping off my boots, I quickly ran over while carrying Wally in my arms to grab it since it was on the couch. Once I had it in my arms, I walked back over to the door and kissed Wally's head. "We are going to see your uncle Antonio today. You like that idea?" Wally just cuddled up to me as I held him close while supporting his head. Making my way to the door, I slipped my boots on again before walking out the door with the bag over my shoulder. I then went to lock up for Gabby and smiled as I walked back to the van.

Walking over to Gabby, I smiled when she put Ella in the van. "She all cozy in her warm clothes?" Gabby laughed and agreed. "Just put him in his car seat so we can go get the groceries for Antonio." I nodded and agreed with her as I went to put Wally in his car seat. Buckling him up, I then saw Matteo unbuckle. "Hey Matteo, buckle up. And stay buckled up. Safety first." Matteo then looked at me. "Toy on ground." I sighed and looked at him before going to get in the back to grab it. "Here buddy, keep it in your hands." He agreed and held it close.

I then decided to help him buckle up again and made sure it was tight. "Ready to go see uncle Tonio?" Matteo nodded and agreed as I got out of the back of the van and smiled at Ella. Rubbing her cheek, I then went to kiss her forehead. "Got, you are the most adorable girl in the world." Gabby then looked at me. "Hey!" I then went to close the door before getting in the van. "And you are the most beautiful woman in the world." Leaning over to kiss her, I smiled before buckling up. "Ready to go Matteo?" Matteo nodded, excited. "Let's go!"

I smiled and laughed when I turned to look at Gabby. "You heard the boy." I smiled as I turned around to back out of the driveway, ready to spend the day with Antonio and Sylvie.
