Chapter 114

Matt's POV: After spending the past hour in bed with Gabby, I got a text from Antonio letting me know that it was time for Theo to get a feeding. Some milk and cheerios. I then sighed since Gabby was sleeping on my arm. "Gabby, babe. I need to get up." Gabby then groaned as she looked up at me. "I need to go give Theo a feeding. I can stay up there after for a while. Want me to bring Matteo with me and we can watch some TV?" Gabby smiled and nodded as she went to lean over me. Kissing me softly, she agreed. "Can you ask Antonio how far along she is?"

I nodded and agreed before going to text Antonio. 'Quick status update?' Antonio then texted back pretty quickly. ' We are almost there. Maybe 20-30 minutes. She's coming fast.' I agreed with him and decided to ask a question. 'You staying the night at the hospital?' Antonio then texted back in the affirmative. 'Yeah, can you still stay? I would rather be here. Premie' I then understood and just texted back quick. 'Okay, good luck.'  Putting my phone down, I then looked at Gabby. "20-30 minutes he says. Listen, just relax. I need to feed Theo."

Gabby then looked at me. "And Matteo." I nodded and then went to kiss her softly before getting up. "If you need anything, I am just a text away." Gabby nodded and agreed as I went to walk out of our room, grabbing my iPad on the way. I then proceeded to make my way to where Matteo was sleeping and went to open the door. Seeing he was still asleep, I smiled at him while walking over to him. "Hey buddy, time to wake up." I then sat down next to him on the bed and smiled at him. Matteo then rolled over and looked at me. "Where are we papa?"

I then went to rub his cheek and smiled. "We are at uncle Tonio's house. They are at the hospital because aunt Sylvie is giving birth to your new cousin. Now, how about you come upstairs with me? We can watch some TV and cuddle on the couch while you have a snack. Maybe some cheerios?" Matteo nodded and agreed. "Can I stay in my PJs?" I nodded and smiled before helping him up. "C'mon little buddy, let's go upstairs." Me and Matteo then went upstairs together so that I could feed both him and Theo a snack that afternoon.
