Chapter 33

Matt's POV: After calling Diego to get him to go to work, I turned to look at Matteo and smiled at him when I remembered something...we forgot to order him something from Molly's. "Hey Gabby, what are we going to do for Matteo? I mean, we didn't order him or your mom anything." Gabby then realized that and nodded. "Dang. We should've asked." I nodded and agreed, kissing her forehead. "Listen, I am going to go ask my mom what she wants from the restaurant." That's when I Camila come upstairs. "We're ordering in for tonight?" I nodded and smiled.

"We are going to order from Molly's. We haven't been there in a while. Well, we already ordered but we forgot to order for you and Matteo." Camila when when I said that. "Just get the me wings, medium with a side caesar." I nodded and agreed. "And what do you want to eat tonight Matteo?" Matt then looked at me and smiled. "Steak" I smiled when he said that. "Maybe tomorrow okay bud? Tonight, we are ordering from our restaurant." Matteo then thought about what he would want. "Can I get chicken fingers with fries?" I nodded and smiled. "Sure."

Getting up from the bed, I then went to update our order. They answered right away while I walked away to the bathroom so I could make sure we also ordered for Matteo and Camila. Plus, I had to put some deodorant on for when I went out. Maybe Gabby could come.

Gabby's POV: When my mom walked in, I smiled as she sat on the bed. "Hey mom, I know Matt said he would go get it but...can I go with him? I know the kids are young but, I would like to just get some fresh air. Plus, I haven't seen the place in a while." My mom nodded and smiled. "If you want, you guys could eat there and we could just eat after?" I couldn't believe that I was actually seriously thinking about taking her up on her offer but, I was. "I don't know, the babies are young. They are still doing breastmilk."

My mom nodded and understood. "Gabby, it's your call. If you want to go eat there with Matt, go ahead. Or just go out for a minute with your husband. You haven't done that since you left Puerto Rico. He's been out working and you've always had the kids around. You need at least a bit of time alone to just breathe. Please, just do it for yourself Gabby. Don't make the same mistakes I did in my marriage." I then stared at my mom. "Mom, it wasn't your fault. It was his!" My mom nodded and agreed. "Right."

I then looked at my mom. "Listen mom, can you watch him for a minute? I am going to take you up on your offer. Have to get dressed. Oh and put a bit of makeup on." My mom nodded and agreed while I got up and walked away to go join Matt in the washroom. Walking in behind him, I smiled as I went to rub his back. "Move over, I need to clean up my face and put a bit of makeup on so that I don't look like a hot mess when I am out there with you." Matt turned to look at me and smiled. "You are going to come?"

I looked at him and smiled. "I mean, if that's okay?" Matt smiled and nodded. "I was going to ask you. My mom says I need to go out and get out of this place for a bit." Matt smiled and nodded as he walked up to me. He then went to kiss my forehead while wrapping his arms around me. "I completely agree with her. Now listen, I hate to say this but...you need to make sure you smell good. Don't take a shower though. That's later when we are alone."

I smiled when he said that and nodded. "Oh and just to let you know, we are not just going to pick up the food. We are going to eat there. Just no alcohol." Matt smiled and nodded. "I promise. Max 30 minutes." I agreed and smiled as he kissed me quickly before going out. "Thank you Camila!" I laughed when he said that before getting changed so that we could have a quick date.
