Chapter 41

Matt's POV: As I made my way upstairs to the bedroom, I smiled when I saw Gabby standing in the bedroom. Seeing she was struggling with her dress, I knew she was going to need some help. However, I decided to take off my shirt first so that it was already done. Quickly throwing it into the laundry, I then proceeded to walk up to Gabby next to our bed. "You know, you don't need to struggle when I am here to help you?" Gabby then turned to look at me and smiled. "I would love some help." I then agreed while stepping close to her. Moving my hands to her hips, I smiled when I felt her move her hands to my neck. Kissing her softly, I grabbed her back.

"I had a lot of fun tonight. I think we needed it more than we even realized." Gabby smiled and nodded as she rubbed my chest and then finally got her dress undone before helping her take it off her shoulders. "Here, let's get you undressed then you can get in bed." Gabby smiled. "I already brushed my teeth and everything. I decided to get it done because I want to get in bed with you." I nodded and agreed with her. "I have to brush my teeth still so, you'll need to wait." Gabby smiled and nodded. "That's fine. I can give the kids one last feeding."

I nodded and agreed. "Your mom says she has Matteo okay? We just have to concentrate on the two little ones." Gabby smiled, liking that when her dress finally feel to the ground. Kissing her quickly, I smiled as we held each other close. "Listen, you start feeding Ella. You know she always takes longer considering she is older." Gabby nodded and agreed as I let her go. She then went to walk over to Ella wearing her lingerie. "By the way, I liked that cologne you wore. It was nice. What was it?" I laughed. "It was the one you bought me for Christmas. Glad you like it."

Walking away to the washroom, I went to brush my teeth smiling when I saw Gabby get in bed. "By the way, if Matteo comes in...just let him get in bed with us. I am okay with him sleeping next to us. I know we want tonight but...I like to cuddle with him at night. Oh and remind me that your mom isn't making breakfast tomorrow. I told her to sleep in. So if Matteo asks for breakfast, I have to go make it." Gabby nodded and smiled. "You will remember, I already know that." Grabbing my toothbrush, I then started to brush my teeth when I heard gunshots outside.

Looking outside the window, I got worried when I saw there was cops down the street. I decided it was nothing and that Antonio would've told me if something was happening. However, I decided to text him. 'Hey, there was gunshots down the street from us. Can you keep us updated?' I then set my phone down before going to spit when I finished brushing my teeth. That's when I saw Antonio texted me back. 'I'll ask around CPD. Stay safe.' I agreed and then decided to text him back. 'Your mom is safe downstairs just an FYI.' 

Antonio liked that I texted him about his mom. 'Thanks. Night guys.' I then agreed before going to walk out to bed. That's when I saw Gabby set both Ella and Wally back down in bed. "They not want to feed?" Gabby shook her head. "They didn't even really recognize I was there. That means we are going to be up in a bit." I nodded and agreed. "Then what do you say we just stay awake until they have to feed. We can just relax for a while." Gabby nodded and smiled as she went to grab her bra. She then went to put it on when I saw her struggle.

"Here, let me help and then I'll join you in bed." Gabby nodded and agreed as she turned around and let me help her put her bra on so that we could get in bed together that night.
