Jay's POV: Once Antonio walked away, I turned to look at Erin before putting my hand on her stomach. I then sighed and looked at her. "You're okay right?" Erin then looked up at me, knowing I was talking about her pregnancy. "Jay, I'm fine. I am not going into labor anytime soon. I promise, little Jason West isn't going to be joining us in the world for a while." I nodded and agreed before looking at her. "I like that name by the way if it's a boy." Erin smiled and agreed with me as she moved to hug me. That's when I heard my phone ring. I saw it was Will. "Seems like somebody told Will that she went into labor and gave birth." Erin agreed as I went to answer. "Hey, how's stuff in Seattle?"
Will laughed. "Chaotic. We are still unpacking. I just finished Owen's and Willow's rooms. Decided to them first since they need their rooms to stay out of our way." I laughed and agreed. "And you guys at least have your bed set up right?" Will agreed. "Yeah, believe me...she needed it. And believe me when I say this, never...ever do a road trip to Seattle." I smiled and nodded. "By the way, I sent you the documents you need to send to the lawyer. It's giving me your stake in the cottage. If you aren't here...then I don't want to have to deal with you when I am making decisions about it." Will agreed. "Dude, just give me time to move in and get started."
I understood. "By the way, I wanted to let you know I already sent you a copy of a background check for you." Will seemed confused when I said that. "What!" I then sighed. "It's for when you apply to jobs. You can provide them one instead of them having to apply to see it. You are going to want to get a job as soon as possible to provide. I know you man." Will agreed. "Thanks, I guess that works. Didn't think about that." I laughed. "See, sometimes the baby bro needs to think of stuff before the older one does." Will laughed and agreed. "Yes, he does. By the way, how is Erin doing? She's what now...3 1/2 months?" I agreed. "Yeah, first trimester done. And it's much better. By the way, can't believe my baby girl is already 9 months now."
Will laughed. "God, that's right. How's my little niece?" I smiled. "Walking and talking." I then decided to look at Erin before wrapping my arm around her. "Can you stay here with Lucky? I am going to go talk to my brother?" Erin then looked at me and nodded, kissing me softly before grabbing Lucky's leach. "Go catch up. We aren't staying long anyways. We need to go back to work or we can head home." I smirked when she said home and Erin knew right away that was the plan. "You know I hate working on Sunday." Erin nodded and agreed as she looked Lucky who cuddled up to her at her feet. Meanwhile, I walked away to talk to Will.
"So, what hospital did they take her to?" I laughed. "Med, Hannah took care of her. Oh and so is Maggie." That's when I heard Natalie walk into the room. "Did someone just say Maggie?" Will then laughed. "It's Jay. I'm talking to him about Antonio and Sylvie. She went into pre-term labor. They just had their daughter. You know the name yet Jay?" I then thought about it. "Hannah Sylvia Dawson." Natalie liked the sound of that. "That's cute. But listen, you know we need to unpack Will. We have that meeting in a couple hours with Dr. Barnett, the pediatrician." I understood. "Go unpack Will, I got it. And on a Sunday Natalie?" Natalie laughed. "I start tomorrow. Well, Orientation. Then Tuesday, I am delivering babies."
I agreed. "What's Will doing?" Will then laughed. "I am going to try and talk to Dr. Miranda Bailey, the head of the hospital, about getting a position at the hospital." I agreed. "Good luck man. Now listen, I am going to let you go. Video chat tonight?" Will sighed. "Maybe, remember...time difference. Your tonight is my dinner time." I agreed. "Well, sometime. Talk later. Oh and you better come visit when we have our kid. We'll do the same for you guys!" Will laughed and agreed. "Of course. Talk later Jay. Say hi to Erin for us." I agreed and then went to hang up so that I could walk over to Erin. "Will and Natalie say hi."
Erin nodded and agreed as I went to sit next to her. Wrapping my arm around her, I then went to grab her hand and intertwined our fingers. "Listen, I want you to do some breathing okay? Erin, everything is fine...I promise." Erin nodded and agreed as she looked up at me. "You know I love you right?" I nodded and smiled when she said that before bending down to kiss her softly. "I know you do." Erin then went to intertwine our fingers as I held her close. "I'm going to tell Voight we want some time off right now. You deserve it after getting this worried. You are going to be stressed and just thinking about this all day. Not good for the baby."
Erin nodded and agreed with me. "Can you just call him and stay here? You being here helps." I nodded and agreed with her as I just held her in my arms before grabbing my phone to call Voight so that he could give us the rest of the day off.
