Matt's POV: After spending the past hour and a half talking and laughing with Jay and Erin, I finally heard the lasagna timer go off. "Hey Gabby, you want me to get the kids or do you want to?" Gabby then looked up at me and smiled. "No, you get the plates ready. Can you also put some in containers for leftovers? I want to bring a bit to the firehouse. Matteo and me can have some as lunch. Oh and so can you." I smiled and agreed as I went to kiss her forehead. "Good idea. Jay, can you come set the table?" Jay then stared at me. "Seriously?"

I then looked at him. "Let me remind you that I outrank the both of you." Jay laughed when I said that before getting up and walking over to me. "You will always outrank Erin. However, you will never outrank me buddy." Jay then slapped my cheek as we walked over to the kitchen. "Uhm, last time I checked I was the heart of a firehouse. You are only the Deputy Head of a unit in a district." Jay then turned to look at me. "Former Army Ranger, Specialist 3rd Class. That's a federal rank bud. You only have a city-wide rank of chief."

I then looked at him and sighed. "God, you are right." Jay then laughed as he looked at me before going to grab some plates. "Honestly, I outrank everybody in intelligence based solely on my military rank." Erin didn't like the sound of that though. "Excuse me?" Jay then turned to look at her. "Erin, it's true. But you outrank me because you are my wife and our boss' daughter. Sorry but, I a still freakin' scared of your father. It's like night and day. At home, he's this doting grandfather...then at work he's this scary policeman."

I then went to cut a slice of Lasagna for Matteo before bringing it to the table. "Matteo, come get supper buddy." Matteo then got up from the living room and ran over. "Spaghetti?" I then shook my head while bending down to put him in his high chair. "Lasagna. It's like spaghetti." Matteo then nodded. Meanwhile, I walked away to go grab him a kid fork before giving it to him. "Here, just ask for help if you need it." Matteo then nodded before going to eat. "Milk or juice tonight Matteo?" Matteo then thought about it when Gabby answered.

"Just give him milk Matt. It calms him down. We only have apple juice." I then agreed before going to get some milk. "You want to feed the babies while we eat?" Gabby nodded and agreed. "Yes. But I am pumping after supper once we have given Matteo and the babies a bath." I nodded and agreed as I turned to look at her. "Remind me to bring my shampoo tomorrow. The firehouse shampoo is disgusting!" Gabby then nodded and agreed. "About that, we need to talk about something later tonight after supper." I then sighed. "About that incident?"

Gabby sighed. "I am still not over it. So, I want you to keep watch still." I nodded and understood as I put my hand out to her. She then walked over to me before grabbing it. She then kissed me softly. "Thanks for understanding." I nodded and smiled at her. "It's my job to understand Gabby. Both as your husband and as your chief." Gabby nodded and agreed as she rubbed my hand. "Don't ask guys...it's hard on her." Erin agreed. "Vulnerable situation in the shower, peeping tom? I know about it Gabby. I helped with the prosecution."

Gabby nodded and agreed. "Oh Matt, don't forget I am also helping with Stephen tomorrow. So, I am watching 4 kids." I then turned to look at her and bit my lip. "You don't want any help?" Gabby then shook her head. "Matt, it'll be fine. Just keep Lee Henry at the house and just send him on Squad Calls instead of Fire Calls." I then thought about that and nodded. "Right, he wants to be on squad, not truck." Gabby smiled. "Yes, so we need to change him to squad." I smiled and nodded. "After supper, conference call with Severide and Hermann?"

Gabby then shook her head. "No, kids in bed and then we get a bit of alone time. Long day." I agreed and nodded. "You coming in an hour later or are you going to come in with me?" Gabby then bit her lip. "I'll come in with you." I smiled and nodded. "Let's eat then we need to get the kids ready for bed." We all agreed and nodded as we all got our food and went to eat so that we could get ready for bed while Jay and Erin headed home.
