Chapter 126

Matt's POV: After spending the past 20 minutes getting all of our things out of the van and bring the bags to where they belong, I made my way upstairs to our bedroom. Walking in, I saw Gabby in the master bathroom and could tell that she need me. I was just glad the kids were all asleep in their beds (Matteo in his room, and the babies in our room). That would give me a bit of time alone with Gabby to check on how she is doing after running into her dad. Walking into the bathroom behind her, I saw her wearing some sweats and one of my fire t-shirts as I stood behind her.

"I already unpacked everything and spoke to Eva. She knows we need time and we have it to talk. So, I am all yours okay? Whatever you need to make you feel better, I promise...I am here to give it to you." I then went to wrap my arms around her before kissing her shoulder softly. "Just promise me that you aren't going to shut down Gabby. I am here and he knows I mean business when it comes to my family. If he does anything, I am going to get him back in jail. Heck, he technically can go to jail right now after breaching the restraining order."

Gabby then turned to look at me and just stepped close to me. Wrapping her arms around my neck, she kissed me softly while we held each other close. "All I want right now, is my husband to make me forget that just happened." I smiled when she said that before going to move my hands to her hips. "What do you want Gabby? Tell me and I will give it to you." Gabby then whispered to me. "You in bed."

I smiled when she said that and then went to look in my drawer to check whether I had some condoms and sighed. "Unfortunately, that can't happen today." Gabby then laughed. "I never said sexually baby. I just want to have you hold me in your arms and kiss me. Make me feel loved and safe." I agreed with her before going to grab her neck. "You are always safe when you are in my arms. I promise." Gabby smiled when I said that before hugging me. Rubbing her back, I then kissed her shoulder. "Here, let's get in bed and just hold each other."

Gabby nodded and agreed as she went to grab my hand before shutting off the bathroom light. Following her out to bed, I smiled as we prepared to hold each other close and just relax for a while. "You already turn the baby monitors on?" Gabby then turned to look at me when we arrived at my side of the bed. "Yes, so relax." She then stepped close to me while wrapping her arms around my neck. Grabbing her sides, I then went to kiss her softly while keeping her close. I then bent down to kiss her neck and smiled. "Get in bed Gabby and I will join you in my clothes."

Getting in bed before me, Gabby then laid down and smiled when she felt me join her in bed. Tugging her close to my chest since I was already wearing sweats, I smiled as I closed the covers and felt Gabby wrap her arm around my back. Smiling at her, I did the same before bending down to kiss her softly. "You are amazing Gabby and I promise...this is all I need. You here in my arms kissing me for a while." Gabby smiled and agreed as she moved to grab my neck as she kissed me slowly. "Then enjoy it." I nodded and agreed when she pushed me over so she was laying down on top of me. 

Feeling her cuddle up to me, I tugged the covers up and smiled as I rubbed her back. "This works too." Gabby then laughed as she moved to wrap her arms around my head and then kissed me softly as we held each other in bed, enjoying the fact that we were once again in our own bed rather than sleeping on a pull out couch at Antonio's.
