Puerto Rico Vow Renewal

Parroquia Stella Maris Catholic Church (Groom's Suite)
Matt's POV: As I stand in my room with Antonio wearing a tux, I stare at myself in the mirror still in disbelief that we are really doing this. A vow renewal in a catholic church. I am just glad the priest understood that we used to be divorced but are now remarried. Gabby wanted to do it in the church because she felt it was just right. Spirit recently has played such a huge part in our lives becuase we believe that everything we've been through has led us to this. And with her now being 5 1/2 months pregnant with our 3rd child...this was amazing. We recently had a chance to learn the gender but, Gabby didn't want to (or so I thought).

That's when I heard Antonio and my sister walk into my room. "Wow, when Gabby said you went all out when it came to getting a suit, she wasn't kidding." I laughed and agreed with him before smiling. "How are you guys? Oh and Christie...I am so glad you could come with Violet." Christie then smiled as she walked up to me. Hugging me, she smiled. "I am just glad that you have chosen me to be one of the people who stand up for you. Now, am I the best sister or, is that Antonio?" I laughed when she said that. "You are one of Gabby's bridesmaids. You are going to be walked down the aisle by her nephew Diego." That's when Diego came in with Matteo.

Looking great in his suit, I smiled at him. "Looking good Diego. And so are you Matteo." I then walked over to him and grabbed Matteo out of his arms. Picking him up, I smiled as I went to kiss my 1-year old son's cheek. "Papa looks nice." I then smiled when he said that. "And how does mama look in her dress? Did you already go see her and give her the letter?" Matteo nodded and smiled when I turned to look at Antonio. "Hey Antonio, thanks again for helping me with those spanish vows. I can't wait to surprise everybody with them." Antonio smiled and agreed with me when I saw Gabby's mom walk into the room. "This is from Gabby. A note for her groom."

I smiled as she went to give it to me before reading it. "To my husband. While this is not our wedding, this is a dream come true. To marry you properly in a church is what I have always dreamed for myself since I was a little girl. But what makes it even more special is that I am marrying you again. I love you and can't wait to see you in that suit. -Gabby and Baby Boy." I was shocked when I read that last part. "Oh my god! That's crazy. Guys, I know the gender of the baby." Diego and Antonio then both looked at me. "What?" I then went to show them the card. They then both looked at the bottom of the card. "Another boy."

That's when I heard my mom walk into the room. "Did I just hear that I am getting another grandson?" I then looked at my mom and smiled at her. Walking up to her, I hugged her tight. "I am so glad that you could come." My mom then smiled. "I missed your first 2 weddings. There was no way in my right mind that I was going to miss your vow renewal." I smiled and agreed with her. "So listen, as much as I want to spend some time with you guys...me and Gabby are going to do the first look before the ceremony. I hope you understand that I Just want this moment alone. Plus, wouldn't mind talking to her about the gender."

Antonio laughed and agreed with me. "She's already at the altar waiting for you. Just make it fast. The ceremony is set to start soon." I nodded and agreed with him. "Oh that card. Do you have it with you?" Antonio then went to check his pocket and smiled. "Here, they are translated and ready for you to read to Gabby." I nodded and agreed with him, ready to go see my beautiful bride for the first time in a while. "Listen, can you watch Matteo? I am going to go see Gabby. I promise, it won't be long." We all smiled and agreed as I went to shake Antonio's hand. I then left my suite so that I could make my way to the altar for the first look.

Meanwhile, with Gabby in her suite:
Gabby's POV: As I stood in my suite with Sylvie, I smiled as I went to look at myself in the mirror. I was currently in the midst of wearing a tight, white dress which showed off my baby bump quite well. Being 5 1/2 months pregnant, I was a little shocked that I was so little but...I was also glad becuase boy did I look sexy in this dress. Walking up behind me, Sylvie smiled as she rubbed my back. "Gabby, you look amazing and I am positive that you and Matt are going to have a great night the minute he takes off that dress." I then turned to look at her and smiled.

"God, I am just glad this is all working out. We are making the most of this previously bad situation and now we are here in this gorgeous church...having a real wedding. I never expected this in a million years. This is a dream come true since I was a little girl. To get married to the most wonderful man in the world in a beautiful Cathedral. But to do it here in Puerto Rico is amazing. I get to have so much family and friends here. But, I am just glad that I get to have you by my side. I am so nervous because I have never had a real wedding." Sylvie smiled when I said that and went to rub my arms. "Gabby, just relax and go see him it's time."

I then looked at her and checked the time. "Oh god, you're right. It's time for the first look." Sylvie then smiled at me. "And you see his reactiong that you are having another boy. You sure you aren't okay that you aren't having a girl?" I shook my head. "Girl, I am just glad we are having a second child." I then went to check my makeup one last time when my mom walked in. "Oh Gabriela, you look beautiful." I then turned to look at her and smiled as I went to hug her. "Mom listen, I will be right back to talk okay? Right now, it's time to do the first look." My mom then agreed with me. "Then go ahead and go see Matt. I'll be awaiting.

I nodded and agreed, smiling at her as I prepared to go see Matt in his tux.
