A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 206 - Off to Honeymoon

Kara and Nia are still standing outside the hotel dining room area, and Kara is continuing to take in the fact that Nia just admitted to her that she slept with her friend Sara.

"Okay." Kara says, taking a deep breath, "I.... Firstly, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm just..... a bit friend out." Nia says, "I've never been with a woman before..... and.... when I woke up this morning..... Sara was gone."

"Oh." Kara says, "Well, Sara probably went back to her own universe."

"Her own universe?!" Nia exclaims.

"Righttttttttt......" Kara says, "I guess I never told you, some of my friends who were at this wedding, are superhero friends I've made from another universe, including Sara, Barry, and his wife, and Oliver, and his wife."

"So..... you are telling me I slept with a woman from another universe?" Nia asks, "Am I... going to get another universe disease or something?"

Kara chuckles.

"Calm down, Nia." Kara says, "You had fun at a wedding. It doesn't have to mean anything more than that. And you are certainly going to be absolutely fine."

"Okay." Nia says, taking a deep breath, "I was..... I was just a bit freak out over all of it.... and because I thought maybe I did something wrong last night..... because I'm trans.... and have never been with a woman before. I thought that's what Sara leaving meant."

"No. I'm sure it didn't Nia." Kara replies, "I don't need any details, but did it seem like both you and Sara were enjoying yourself last night?"

"Uhmmm.... Yeah." Nia blushes.

"Well, then, that's all you need to know. Sara isn't the type of person who would fake that she's enjoying something when she isn't." Kara says, "And she's also not the type of person that does goodbyes or anything. So, her leaving this morning, without saying goodbye, is just like her. Everything is okay."

"Okay.... Okay." Nia says.

"Now...." Kara smiles, and wraps an arm around Nia's shoulder, "Come have breakfast with all of us."

"Yeah, alright." Nia replies.

Kara and Nia then walk back into the dining breakfast room area.

It is now a little while later, and everyone is just about to leave the hotel, and head back to National City. For Kara and Lena, they are both a little bit down because of this, as they know it means the end of their wedding, even if they do have their honeymoon to look forward to, over the next week. It's just, Kara and Lena have had such a good time, and now it's over.

"Hey." Lena says, as she walks back into her and Kara's room, after helping Sam put some stuff into the car from the room she was sharing with Sam on Friday night.

"Hey." Kara replies, turning to look at Lena with a forced smile.

"Is everything alright?" Lena asks, as she moves towards her wife, and places both hands on her arms.

"Yeah. I guess.... I'm just a little down that the wedding stuff is over." Kara admits.

"Oh.... Well.... I'm kind of feeling the same way." Lena replies, "I guess every married couple feels this way. But it can't really go on forever, can it?"

"No." Kara says.

"But we do have our honeymoon to look forward to over these next two weeks, the first of which we will get to be entirely alone together, in beautiful Hawaii." Lena says.
