Since arriving back in Parthas with her sister, Nia found some sort of peace that she was unable to get in National City, after everything that happened, including her mom's death. That isn't because Nia doesn't have friends, or even family, who can help her through things like this, it's just, even though she has a lovely apartment, amazing friends, and nieces that she loves to bits, National City is not her home, Parthas is. Nia knows that everyone likely has the same sort of feelings about the home town or city they were raised in. Kara and Alex probably feel the same way about Midvale, as Nia does about Parthas. So being back in Parthas for the younger Nal sister, was a good experience, it allowed Nia to relax, and just feel truly at home, and also see her father again. That moment, when Nia and Maeve stepped in their home front door again, and were greeted by their father, was truly a special one. Nia doubts that she will ever forget the happy look on her father's face.

Following seeing their father again, Nia and Maeve just relaxed back into their family home, with their father being at their beck and call the whole time, not that either of the sisters were taking advantage of him, or using him as their servant, or anything like that. It's clear their father was just so happy that they were both safe, and alive, that he was willing to do anything for them, and treat them as if they were a sick child, who needs their parents complete, and full, attention to get better. During this time, the family did sit together for a while, and they discussed everything that had happened. Nia told their father the tale of most of what she has been doing in National City over these last several months, talking about the friends, and family, she has made there, while also leaving out the bits giving away Kara's secret identity as Supergirl. Nia may trust her father to keep a secret, but it's not her secret to share after all. After Nia finished talking, their discussion took a darker turn, where Maeve discussed everything that she, and their mom, went through over the last several months, and how they were treated by Leviathan. This was very hard to hear for Nia, and tears were shed by both Nia, Isabel, and their father, Paul.

After both the sisters finished updating their father with what had happened to them over the last several months, they finally began to tell him about how Nia was able to get Maeve out of Leviathan, and discussing their mother's final moments in the process. This discussion was very much led by Nia, as she has more of the details than Maeve, and it was very difficult for Nia to retell the story again, it making her very emotional when she got to her mother's death. Once Nia finished though, Paul took both his daughters in for tight hugs, telling them how much he loves them, before explaining, in more detail, about how their mother had come to him in a dream, a few nights ago, the night before her death, to simply say goodbye to him, and spend some final moments together. Paul told his children that it helped him be more at peace with Isabel's passing, and explained that their mother was completely at peace with her own death, and the two girls should not be sad about that.

Once the heaviness of the family discussion of what had happened to Nia and Maeve was out of the way, the family very much returned to a sense of normalcy, just spending some time together, although, Paul did tell his daughters that there would be a memorial service for their mother the following day. The service would be attended by many members of the Parthas community, as Isabel Nal was a big influence on everyone part of this alien-human peaceful living community, respected, and even loved, by many. So, with Isabel Nal's passing, many of the members of the Parthas community were in mourning.

The following day, Nia, Maeve, and Paul, all attended Isabel's memorial service, with Paul giving the main eulogy. There were moments during the eulogy where Nia and Maeve had to watch their father tear up from how emotional he was getting, and this was very difficult for the two girls, and made them cry too. Eventually Paul's eulogy for his wife finished, and both Nia and Maeve were given the opportunity to speak about their mom. Nia, for her part, kept her speech rather brief, having not really prepared anything in advance, as it was just too difficult to even attempt to do. So, Nia just talked about some of her fondest memories of her mom, and explained how she loved her mom very much, and knew her mom loved her, and would miss her greatly. Afterwards, Maeve was able to give her own speech about Isabel, and she talked about how her mom had always been her inspiration, and how she always wanted to follow in her mom's footsteps, because she saw her as this amazing person. Maeve then went on to say in her final moments with her mom she learnt that the footsteps that she would be following may not be the ones she expected them to be, but she is looking forward to seeing it through, and hopes that she will make her mom proud.
