Chapter 377 - Alex's Results

Back in Mojave Springs, over the last hour since Reign killed Trevor while having sex with him, the world killer has simply gone about her day as if it was normal, having a nice shower to clean her body, and freshen up, and then getting dressed again. Unfortunately, seeing as Reign is in a man's home right now, there are no new clothes for her to wear, so she has to put the same dress she wore yesterday, and last night again, as well as her underwear, which might have got a bit ruined from the night before, where she got horny. However, Reign knows that even though everything she hoped to achieve last night did not go to plan, this all still moves her in the right direction. At the end of the day, her main aim was to get someone to drive her out of this town, in the middle of nowhere, so she could make it harder for Leviathan, or Supergirl and her friends, to track her down. Now though, Reign may not have someone to physically drive her out of this town, as Trevor is dead, but he won't be using his car now, so she can use that. In fact, Trevor won't be using any of his earthly processions anymore, so Reign thinks she might as well have a look through all of them, and see what she can find that could be of use to her.

Now that Reign is all dressed and everything, she simply has a look through Trevor's home, leaving the man's dead body lying on the bed. Reign thinks that it will likely be a few days, at least, until his body is found, giving her plenty of time to leave, and just disappear and lose any trail of her, for anyone to find, completely. As Reign looks through Trevor's home, at first, she doesn't find anything that is that much of interest to her, just men's clothes, a bunch of video games, some sports equipment, and a collection of vinyl records. However, Reign eventually decides to have a look in Trevor's closet, thinking that she might as well, as sometimes people hide stuff in their closets of value to them, rather than putting them somewhere else. Reign soon ends up finding that this thought is right, because in the back right hand corner of the closet, Reign sees that there is a medium sized safe. Of course, Reign knows that she has absolutely no chance of opening the safe by cracking the code or anything, so she will just have to rely on her strength and hope that she has it right now to actually break this safe open. Reign is well aware that she can't just have increased human strength, as no human, no matter how strong they are, would have the ability to break open a safe like this. Super strength is required.

Reign now takes a deep breath, readying herself, and hoping that she will actually be able to summon her super strength on command right now, as in all honesty, earlier, when she accidentally snapped Trevor's neck, while fucking him, that wasn't done on purpose. It was just as sudden increase in her super strength that caused all that to happen, proving to Reign that her powers are still unreliable right now. Now though, Reign places a hand on the handle of the safe, while putting her other hand on the side of the safe, and then she starts to pull, with all the strength she can manage.

"AGHHHHH!!!" Reign yells out, as she attempts to use her strength.

Nothing happens, the safe does not make any sort of sound to suggest that Reign's strength is prying it open, and frankly, Reign can tell that she isn't doing anything either, she is not using her super strength right now.

"FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Reign eventually yells, letting go of the safe upon her failure to open it, picking up this term from her memories provided by Sam Arias-Danvers.

Reign now stands up from the ground and just feels so angry right now, so beyond annoyed that she hasn't been able to use her powers, and that whatever was done to her is causing all this to happen, where her powers have become almost useless to her, as she has very little control over them.

"I curse them, in Rao's name, for doing this to me!" Reign shouts.

Reign then proceeds to swing her fist, and aim for the wall, and as she does, her hand goes completely through the wall. Upon realising this, Reign grows a wide-eyed look on her face, as she realises that was a feet of super strength, and if she can repeat that on the safe, she should be able to get it open. Of course, putting your hand through a wall in of itself is not a sign of super strength, as most humans could do that, depending on what the walls of the house are built out of. However, Reign knows that what she just did required super strength, because as she removed her hand from the wall after punching a hole through it, she saw that she literally just punched a hole through brick wall, and no human could do that.
