Back at Kara and Lena's new home, Jess and Winn have now arrived, completing the group that will be helping them with everything today. As of now, the group have got a bunch of the furniture out of Kara and Lena's garage, and moved it into the house, and are just placing each piece of furniture, which needs to be assembled, into the correct rooms. They think that it will be easier to actually assemble the furniture in the rooms that they are going in, rather than assembling all the furniture in one room, and moving them into their correct rooms after. The only problem with this method, is it is getting a bit hectic for Lena, to tell everyone where each piece of furniture is going. Plus, J'onn is still finishing off painting the edges of the three bedrooms, so until all that paint is dry, Lena doesn't want anything to be assembled in there. This means that their beds will not be done until the end of today at the earliest.
At the same time that everything is a little hectic, with Lena organising where everything is going, Kara is realising that Morgan and Alura really are going to be less of a help today than they were yesterday. In fact, they are just more of a hinderance. It is clear that Alura and Morgan have absolutely no intention of helping to assemble any furniture. Plus, even if they did, Kara and Lena both think that they'd likely need an adult supervising them, and guiding them as to how to do things, which would not only take one of the adults from assembling furniture on their own, but would also slow down the whole process. So, because of all this, Kara and Lena each think that it might be good if they can just give the girls some sort of distraction or something.
"Ruby?" Kara soon says.
"Yes, aunt Kara?" Ruby replies, as she looks at Kara.
"Would you mind, maybe occupying Morgan and Alura for a little while?" Kara asks, "I don't think they will be much help here. Perhaps you all could go outside, and explore the big yard? Just don't go past the fenced off area."
"Sure. Okay." Ruby says, "We can do a little exploring."
"Yeah. Thank you so much, Ruby." Kara says, with a smile.
"Sure." Ruby nods.
Kara now walks over to Morgan and Alura, who are currently talking with their grandmas and Lena.
"Girls, Ruby here has offered to go play with you in the garden for a while." Kara says, "I thought it might be nice if you all got to run around and play together, and get to know the back yard, or garden, a little better. Does that sound good?"
"Yeah!" Alura says, excitedly.
Morgan, for her part, grows a rather unsure look on her face.
"Morgan?" Kara asks.
"I..... Momma promised I could stay with her." Morgan says.
Kara now grows a confused expression on her face as she looks at Lena.
"Morgan was telling me when we got here that's she's a little scared of the big house." Lena says, "But, if you go outside, and play in the yard, you won't be in this big house. You'll be out. And you'll be with Alura and Ruby the whole time. Plus, you won't be far away from us. We will be able to see you from inside the house here. You should go and have fun with your sister, and Ruby. You'll all get to learn about our garden together. Maybe you can even pick out some ideal spots for where we can plant some flowers soon. Or maybe you can have a look at the trees in the back to see if any look good to build a treehouse on?"
Morgan now still has an unsure look on her face, as she looks between Lena and Ruby and Alura.
"I'll play..... as long as I can come in and be with you whenever I like." Morgan eventually says.
"Of course you can, darling. You can always do that." Lena replies.
"Okay." Morgan now nods.
"Come on, Morgan." Ruby says, holding out her hand for the 4-year-old to take, "Let's go see what we can find outside."
