Lena literally breathes a sigh of relief at the fact that the kryptonite tipped needle actually went into her skin. The last thing Lena would want is for even the kryptonite tipped needle not to be able to pierce her skin, leaving them with the issue of not being able to draw blood from her, which would cause her to worry about the baby's health. Of course, Lena doesn't think that there is anything wrong with her, or anything wrong with the baby, but she wants the peace of mind of all of these tests.

"Okay. This is good." Alex smiles, as she sees Lena's blood starting to fill up the tube.

"Yeah." Lena agrees, with a nod of her head, turning her head away at the same time, seeing as she isn't a fan of blood being drawn, at least visually. Lena does find that a bit funny, as she is a scientist, so she thinks that things like that just shouldn't make her squeamish, but they do.

"So, what did you talk to Nia about?" Alex asks, as she continues to draw the blood, "She looked kind of freaked out as we walked in here."

Kara chuckles at Alex saying that.

"Well, with Lena now visibly being pregnant, we realised that Lena can't hide her pregnancy anymore, so she has to announce it, because as she's famous, people will soon start asking questions, and even theorising." Kara says, "So, we thought it would be best for CatCo to do an article on Lena's pregnancy, based off an interview with Lena. The interview will not be recorded, but an article will be written from it. We decided Nia would be the best person for the job, seeing as it would be very inappropriate for me to do the interview, and write the article. Of course, we just sprung that on Nia, and she really hasn't done something as big as this before, so she's a bit freaked out."

"Ah, well.... I guess that explains that." Alex says, with a smile, as she finishes drawing the blood.

"What are you going to say in the interview?" Lillian asks, curiously, "I don't mean to pry, but obviously you can't say you are having a kryptonian baby, as you want to keep Kara's identity a secret."

"I haven't thought about it that much." Lena admits, "I'll probably think more about my answers over the weekend. But I think when I'm asked, I'll just say the baby will be both Kara and I's. I won't say anything further, so people will just think I don't want to share that type of personal stuff, even though I'll actually be telling the truth."

"Okay. That sounds like a good plan." Lillian nods.

Alex and Lillian then proceed to move about the lab together, taking Lena's blood and beginning to run it through the machines they have, to run all the tests on Lena's blood. This leaves Kara and Lena just waiting for Lillian and Alex to do the tests, with not much they can do right now. Of course, Lena could help Lillian and Alex with the tests, seeing as she does have the knowledge to do what they are doing too, but that would require her getting out of the bed, and honestly Alex and Lillian are both more than capable of doing the tests without her help. Lena's trusts them both.

"You okay?" Kara asks, after a few moments silence.

"Yeah, just a little anxious to find out what these tests will tell us." Lena says, "I don't think anything is wrong. But I'm still worried."

"I get it." Kara says, as she takes her wife's hand and gives it a loving squeeze.

A few moments later, Alex walks back over to Kara and Lena, while Lillian continues to just monitor all the tests that are being run at the moment.

"Alright." Alex says, "So, while the tests are being ran, I can do an ultrasound, to check the health and make sure the growth of the baby is moving along accordingly."

"Okay. That's good with me." Lena nods.

"There is one thing though." Alex says.

"What is it?" Lena asks.
