A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 235 - Preparing for Paris

It is now a few days later, and currently Alura is in a very excited mood. This is because right now everyone is preparing to leave for their trip to Paris. Of course, Alura is very excited about this because she is well aware that on one of their days in Paris, they will be going to Disneyland Paris, and Alura is a massive fan of Disneyland after how much she loved Disney World when Kara and Lena took her last year. However, a part of Alura is clearly even more excited about the prospect of going to Disneyland Paris now, because she gets to share it with her sister, Morgan, who wasn't part of their family when they went to Disney World all those months ago. This is then on top of the fact that Sam, Alex, Ruby and Eliza will also be going to Disney theme park with them too.

Over the last few days, Alura's excitement to go to Disneyland Paris has just slowly increased, which, at times, has made things a bit difficult for Eliza, who has been watching Morgan and Alura while Kara and Lena have gone to work, instead of Lillian and Elizabeth. Specifically, on one occasion, a few days ago, Eliza was downstairs in the living room of Kara and Lena's penthouse, just playing with Morgan, and after a while she went to go see what Alura was up to. Eliza then soon found Alura in her room, and was met with the sight of Alura's clothes being everywhere, all over the floor, as Alura had decided that she wanted to pack her bag for their trip to Disney that day. Needless to say, after Eliza saw this sight, she had to gently explain to Alura that they wouldn't be going for a few more days, and that until then the 6-year-old would need her own clothes, while also explaining that Kara and Lena should be the one to pack Alura's bag for her, or at least they should supervise Alura doing it. Of course, this did make Alura a bit upset, but the young girl's mood soon improved, and they went on with their day. However, the very next day, Eliza was met by an even worse sight, when she had literally left Morgan and Alura unsupervised for 15 minutes. They were all in the penthouse, and Eliza had left Morgan and Alura in Alura's bedroom, playing together, to then make herself a coffee downstairs, and read the paper, while also checking some of her work emails. Once Eliza had finished this though, she went upstairs, and she found Alura and Morgan in Kara and Lena's bathroom, with Morgan's face covered with make-up, as Alura had the wise idea to try and do her sister's make up to look like a Disney princess, basically using Morgan as a real-life doll. Of course, seeing as Alura is only 6-years-old, and has no experience using make up, she got it absolutely everywhere, in the bathroom, and on both her and Morgan's clothes, as they sat on the floor together. So that was just another thing that Eliza had to deal with, and clean up.

Thankfully for Eliza though, after these few incidents, she brought in a little back-up, by taking Alura and Morgan to The Tower, where they could also be watched by Lillian and Elizabeth. Plus, Eliza also thought this would be a good idea, because it would give Lillian and Elizabeth another chance to see their granddaughters, as they won't be coming with them on their trip to Paris. So, doing this made things a lot easier on Eliza, and while Alura's excitement for their upcoming trip remained, with the three grandma's present to wrangle her, the 6-year-old didn't get up to any more antics.

Presently though, Kara, Lena, Eliza and Morgan are at the penthouse, and just making sure that they all have everything before they head to the airport, where they will take Lena's private jet to Paris, along with Alex, Sam and Ruby. Of course, seeing as they are literally just about to start their trip to Paris, Alura sees this as them being one step closer to being at Disney. This excitement from Alura does have Kara and Lena a bit concerned, as they don't plan to actually go to Disneyland Paris until their fourth day of their trip. This is because currently, the group know that they are going to arrive in Paris in the early afternoon of the following day. This will mean that the group probably won't have much energy to do any real activities, and will also need to get their body clocks in order. So, the adults have decided for their first half day they should just casually go around Paris for a few hours, and look at some of the key sights. They are going to be staying in a fancy hotel in the very centre of Paris, so this will be easy enough. Then, after this, on their second day in Paris the group will be going to the women's world cup final which will be a game played between England and the US. The third day has then been set aside for Alex and Sam to actually get married, with the fourth day being the day they plan to go to Disney. So, with all these plans in mind, Kara and Lena really hope that Alura doesn't get impatient with having to wait to go to Disneyland Paris.
