A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 258

Lena and Kara are now walking back into the main living area of The Tower, and as they walk into the room, they see that Elizabeth is sitting in between Morgan and Alura, chatting with them, as both Morgan and Alura sit rather close to Lena's birth mom.

"Hello, girls." Kara smiles, with Lena walking next to her.

Morgan and Alura both turn and look in Kara's direction now, with big smiles on their faces.

"Are you done with the tests?" Alura asks.

"Yes. We are." Lena nods.

"Is the baby, okay?" Morgan asks, in a cute voice.

"Yes. The baby is fine, darling." Lena says, as she and Kara walk over to Alura and Morgan, with Lena stroking the top of Morgan's head lovingly.

"In fact, we actually found out the gender of the baby just now." Kara says.

Morgan and Alura both grow slightly wide eyes upon hearing this.

"So, do you want to know if you are going to be having a brother or sister?" Lena asks, with a smirk.

"Yeah!" Morgan says, answering first.

"Yes." Alura nods.

Kara and Lena now take a seat on the couch Morgan and Alura are sitting on, with the two parents sitting at one end of the couch, with Morgan next to Lena, and Alura on the other end of the couch with Elizabeth between herself and Morgan. Once Kara and Lena do this, they look at one another, and Kara nods her head, allowing Lena to be the one that reveals the gender to the girls.

"You two are going to get another sister." Lena says, with a smile.

"Cool! We are having an all girl family!" Alura says, excitedly.

"We can play together all the time!" Morgan says, happily.

Kara and Lena both smile widely, pleased with Morgan and Alura's reactions. The duo do wonder what the girls reactions would have been if they were having a son though. Kara and Lena think that the girls would probably still be excited, but maybe in a slightly different manner.

"Congratulations you two." Elizabeth smiles, looking at Kara and Lena.

"Thank you, mom." Lena smiles.

"I can' wait to meet my third granddaughter." Elizabeth says.

"Well, you probably are not going to have to wait much longer." Lena says, "Alex just predicted that I'll probably give birth within the next couple of months."

"Oh wow. That soon." Elizabeth says.

"I know! That's what I said to Kara. But she doesn't seem to be freaking out about it at all!" Lena says, now starting to panic again.

"Lena." Kara says, placing a loving hand on one of Lena's legs once more.

Lena takes a deep breath upon Kara doing this.

"Yes. Okay. I know." Lena says to Kara.

"You have more than enough time to do everything, Lena." Elizabeth says, "I was just surprised because your pregnancy is really going to be rather brief in comparison to human pregnancies."

"Yes, well, I guess that is the effect of growing a half kryptonian baby inside of me." Lena says, with a shrug.

"Indeed." Elizabeth nods.

"Do you know what you are going to call the baby yet?" Alura asks, curiously.

Kara and Lena now look at one another with confused looks.
