Kara and Lena have now been travelling in space for the past 5ish hours. Throughout the journey, the two wives have simply got comfortable, holding each other's hands at times, while just looking at everything they are able to see. Of course, they are travelling faster than the speed of light, so they really can't see much. However, somehow, as they travel past distant planets, they are able to see them. For Lena's side of things, she really doesn't understand how this is possible, as from a scientific perspective, under the laws of physics which humans currently believe to be true, it should be impossible for anything to travel faster than the speed of light, but Lena can see that that is exactly what they are doing right now. Then, on top of that, it certainly should be impossible to see anything if you are travelling that fast. All they really should see is the blackness of space, and maybe a bunch of blurs as the travel by. However, they have clearly been able to see some planets that they have gone by. As they were exiting the solar system, they were clearly able to see Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and even Pluto, right as they were leaving it. It has all filled Lena's head with the countless scientific possibilities as to what is actually true, by the real laws of physics now that she knows all this, and can see that what she believed to be scientifically impossible, is possible, right before her own very eyes. Lena knows this tech must truly be very advanced to make all this possible. Although, at the same time, Lena can't help but get the thought in her mind that even though Mars had all this advanced technology, way beyond Earth's understanding, and technological abilities, the planet still destroyed itself, with the white Martians and green Martians killing one another. Lena had always hoped that maybe with such advances in technology, and such advances in understanding would create a society that moves beyond the need for violence and death, but obviously that is not the case.

For Kara's side of things, over the last few hours, as they have been travelling closer towards the coordinates to find the material that they need, she has been trying to keep everything together. This is because, travelling like this, back into space for the first time since she was a teenager, has brought up a bunch of bad memories for Kara, of the day Krypton died, and leaving all her family behind. It's caused a lot of anxiety to build up in Kara's stomach, and she knows that if it wasn't for Lena's presence, by this point she would have had a full blown panic attack, with it getting worse by the confined space they find themselves in. But Lena is here with Kara, and that is truly helping. Holding Lena's hand is helping. Kara is just trying her best to focus on what they have to do to hopefully save Sam, by getting is rock, and then going back home as soon as possible.

"How much longer do you think we will be, until we get there?" Kara soon asks.

"Uhmmm...." Lena says, and then begins to tap away at the spaceship system. This is also something Lena has been doing over the last few hours, just so that they can both better understand the spaceship that they are in, in case anything goes wrong. Lena has been going through all the systems, and just trying to learn it the best she can, "It looks like we are actually pretty close."

"Oh, that's good." Kara says, with a nod of her head.

Lena now glances and looks over at her wife, noticing that she has a rather nervous look on her face.

"Are you okay, darling? You look..... unsure." Lena says.

"Yeah.... that's cause I am." Kara says, with a nod of her head, "This is bringing back a lot of bad memories, and it's sort of putting me on edge, making me sort of prepare for something bad to happen at any moment. I really don't like this."

"I know, darling." Lena says, with a nod of her own head, and a sympathetic look on her face, "And I'm sorry about that. Nothing bad is going to happen, darling. We have made sure of that, by planning it all out. But we are going to be there soon. So, we will hopefully soon be half way done with everything, and be able to quickly return home, and be back with the girls."
