It has been 5 years now, since father left, and he has not returned. It truly would be too much to hope for that father has died. Unfortunately, I know that father is alive, as over the past few years he has written letters to me. He never tells me much about what exactly he is doing, all he rights about in his letters are that it is his divine right to live eternally. I think father has fallen even further into madness than before. He has always been a brutal man, but there is something seriously wrong with him now. I pray, ever night, that father meets his end, be it by someone superior in combat, or by a plague, illness or old age. I don't really know why I pray though, I do not believe in any gods. Those gods abandoned me long ago, and perhaps I deserved as such, if the gods ever did exist.

In moments of clarity, within my father's letters, the only other thing he talks about, is Nyssa. He wants me to keep informing him about how Nyssa's training is going. And that is a matter I hate discussing. I hate talking about it, because I know that the more trained Nyssa becomes, the closer she becomes to father using her as a tool, and a Leviathan agent, to then go and murder people, and have that blood on her hands. However, at the same time, I cannot simply tell father that Nyssa's training is not going well, in an attempt to delay the fateful day, where father will send her out on a mission, to happen, as if father saw that, I know he would demand Nyssa be sent to him, for him to train her, while he is doing whatever he is doing, and I cannot allow that. So really, I have had to carefully thread the needle with father, playing down how good of a fighter Nyssa has become, while also being careful not to play it down too much. Nyssa truly has become a good fighter. She still gets frustrated at being unable to defeat me in combat, and she has never been able to master skills with a bow like I have, but in all other regards, she is amazing. It truly hurts my heart to think this little girl, who I helped raise, is becoming more and more of a weapon. I hate this.

I received a letter from father the other day. It is the first letter I have got from him in 11 months. I was starting to hope that he had actually died. I have never had good luck though. In reality, father's letter contained even more insanity than before, with him asking about Nyssa again. However, the one thing he did make clear in his letter, is that he found what he was looking for, and has now got a renewed sense of life, and feels young again, whatever that means. These letters that father and I have been sending to one another, they have not been delivered by standard mail or anything, father always has one of his men, who he brought with him, deliver the message to me, personally, and then stay until I can write a letter back to father, which he will deliver with him. The Leviathan agent never reveals where father is, even when I press him on the matter. I stopped even attempting to ask a few years ago. However, this time, upon arriving, I clearly noticed an uneasy look on the agent's face. When I pressed him on it, he told me that father has been searching, these past years, for a mythical pool of water on this planet, that can help prolong his existence. He calls it a Lazarus pit. He explained that father told his men that he was aware that there are multiple of these Lazarus pits on Earth, and for the past 1,000 years father had been using one specific Lazarus pit, to prolong his life, and renew his body, but the waters of that pit have since dried up, so that is why he went in search for another one. The agent told me that after emerging from the Lazarus pit, father came back looking young again, instead of looking like the old man he did. However, at the same time, he attacked multiple of the Leviathan agents, and had a wild look in his eye. It took several of the men to restrain father until he calmed down, but one of the men still died, all the same.

This news really terrifies me. If father is young again, if this Lazarus Pit is truly true, then Nyssa and I will never be free of father. He will continue to get younger, and prolong his life, and likely outlive us both, and toss us to the side when we either fall in combat, or are no longer of any use to him. I don't know what to do. The only positive I can take from this situation, is in father's letter, he has told me that despite his mission being a success, he has no intention of returning home just yet. He has explained how with his renewed strength, and sense of life, he will be travelling around the world, getting a view of the modern world, and Leviathan's place in it. His first stop is London, England.
