"Okay. Okay girls." Kara says, with a smile, "We will get up."
"Yeah." Lena smiles, "What has you two girls so excited anyway? I thought your grandmas were getting you up and ready today."
"They did." Alura says, "We helped grandma Eliza and grandma Elizabeth make breakfast. It's ready now though!"
"Oh? What did you end up making?" Kara asks.
"Pancakes! And bacon!" Morgan says, excitedly, with a happy smile.
"Hmmm.... Delicious." Kara says, licking her lips.
"Of course you would say that." Lena says, rolling her eyes, thinking of how Kara is always obsessed with food, and has such a large appetite.
"Can you blame me? I'm hungry! I've spent a lot of energy recently!" Kara says, with a pout.
Lena rolls her eyes again, as while what Kara just said might be true, she is also aware that Kara is simply using it as an excuse so that she can eat a load of food.
"Hmmm.... Very well." Lena soon hums, "But what about Alura? Where is she?"
"I'm here." Alura says.
Kara and Lena both chuckle again, once more knowing that the Alura's sharing a name is going to continuously be confusing for however long Alura spends here on Earth. Although, Kara and Lena hope that eventually they will just be able to refer to Alura as grandma Alura, and that will stop things from being so confusing.
"No, darling, I was talking about mommy's mommy." Lena explains.
"Ohhhh....." Alura says, with wide eyes.
"She's downstairs with grandma Eliza and grandma Elizabeth. She watched us make breakfast. She didn't know anything about making breakfast!" Morgan says, with a happy little smile.
"I can imagine she didn't." Kara says, as she snuggles with Morgan a bit, "Where my mom has been living, on an entirely different planet, the foods were very much different there. So, it will take some time for her to get used to all the foods here on Earth."
"Yes." Lena nods, "But you girls are more than happy to help us show Alura all the wonderful foods we have on Earth, right?"
"Yeah!" Alura nods, "I love food!"
"So do I!" Morgan says, with another happy smile.
"Yes, you both take after mommy in that regard." Lena smirks.
"Can you blame us?" Kara replies, "Food is delicious! There are so many yummy foods out there!""You mean, like kale?" Lena smirks.
"Gross." Kara says, turning up her nose."No, kale is yummy, mommy." Alura says.
"Ugh. I forgot you turned Alura on to kale. Such a betrayal." Kara says, sarcastically.
"It's not a betrayal, Alura just has good taste." Lena says, as she affectionately strokes Alura's head.
Alura smiles happily at Lena being affectionate with her like this.
"You're on my side though, Morgan, aren't you?" Kara asks, as she continues to cuddle with the young child, "You don't like kale, do you?"
Morgan now grows a bit of a thoughtful look on her face.
"I don't think I've had kale." Morgan soon says.
"Oh, you will have to try it sometime then. You will see how yummy it is." Lena smiles.
