A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 202 - Kara & Lena's Wedding

It is now a little while later, and Kara and Lena have both changed into their wedding dresses, and are having their last touch ups of makeup put onto them. Of course, this is all happening in two separate rooms, a few floors apart from each other. The wedding itself is literally only about 30 minutes away now, so things are really starting to get a bit crazy. Everyone is rushing to be ready on time, and for everything to be perfect for Kara and Lena.

Currently, Kara is sitting on a stool in her and Alex's room, having the final touches of her makeup being put on her. In the room with her is Alex, Nia, Eliza, J'onn, Winn and Alura. This means that Lillian, Elizabeth, Jess, Ruby, Eve, Morgan and Sam are in Lena and Sam's bedroom. Of course, this does mean that the group have had to split up Morgan and Alura for a little while, which the two kids are not too happy over. But they are simply doing this because Alura is going to be walking down the aisle in front of Kara, while Morgan will be walking down in front of Lena. So, they want everyone to be in their groups now, so there isn't any last-minute confusion, or panic to go grab one of the kids and put them in their correct place. Obviously, this has all been mostly organised and arranged by Sam and Alex, as they are the ones that have been in charge of the logistics of where everyone is going for the wedding itself.

"Okay. I'm done." The makeup artist says, finishing Kara's makeup.

Kara then turns and looks in the direction of everyone else in her room, who are all eagerly looking at her, basically waiting for the reveal of how she looks in her wedding dress, with her makeup and hair completely done now.

"You look amazing, Kara!" Nia says.

"Yeah. So pretty mommy." Alura adds, "Momma is going to love it."

Kara breaks out into a big smile at Alura saying that, as at the end of the day, this is all for Lena. Kara wants to look good for her future wife, because she knows that Lena is going to look absolutely stunning, drop dead gorgeous, like she usually does.

Alex and Eliza now both step towards Kara, not having any words, just with smiles on their faces.

"You look beautiful, honey." Eliza says, "I want to reach out and give you a kiss, but I don't want to ruin your makeup."

"Thank you, Eliza." Kara smiles.

"Yeah, you look great, Kara." Alex smiles, "I can't believe my little sister is about to get married."

Kara chuckles.

"It just hitting you now, huh?" Kara smirks.

"Yeah." Alex nods.

"Well, imagine how I feel." Kara replies.

Meanwhile, in Lena and Sam's room, Lena's makeup artist has just finished doing Lena's makeup as well.

"You look incredible Lena." Sam smiles, "Although, annoyingly, you look pretty good always. You are pretty talented with your makeup on your own."

Lena chuckles.

"It's something I had to learn. Lillian taught me that we have to be presentable, and look immaculate. That means having near perfect makeup." Lena says.

Upon hearing Lena say that, Lillian grows a conflicted look on her face, because while she knows that Lena isn't saying that in a negative way, she also knows that the way she said it to Lena at the time, was not said in a good way. It's something that Lillian very much regrets.

"It's okay mom." Lena says to Lillian, seeing the conflicted look on the Luthor matriarch's face.

Lillian simply nods her head at Lena, not saying anything.
