It is now another day in Hawaii, and it's actually getting towards the end of the family's time in these Hawaiian Islands, with Kara and Lena's honeymoon coming to an end. Admittedly, there is a part of Kara and Lena that is sad about their honeymoon coming to an end, because it's really just one more extension of their whole wedding experience that has come to an end. However, Kara and Lena are not too sad about their honeymoon ending, because they know that even though their honeymoon will soon be over, they still have the rest of their lives that they will get to spend together, as a married couple. Then, of course, over the next few years, and decades, of their marriage, they do very much plan to continue to go on more tips like this, hopefully both with Alura and Morgan, and also sometimes by themselves, if they think their daughters can handle being away from them for a while. Kara and Lena just hope that if they get Morgan the help she needs, that the 4-year-old will slowly become less clingy to the two of them, and potentially not have emotional moments if they do go away, like what happened this time. However, that is just something that they will have to deal with in the future. For now, the family just plan to really enjoy these last few days in Hawaii, and soak up the sun, and just relax as much as possible.
Right now, the family are having a bit of a lazy day. They don't really have any plans for today, which is honestly the first time since Eliza, Morgan and Alura arrived that they don't have anything planned. The plan for today is just to relax around the pool, and just generally be a bit lazy. Then later on this evening, if everyone is up for it, the group do have some tentative plans to go out and have a nice dinner at a restaurant that Lena has picked out and thought sounds nice. The hope is that if they go to the restaurant later this evening, they will be in downtown Honolulu at the right time to see some of the fireworks, which Kara and Lena know that Morgan and Alura will both enjoy.
Presently, Kara and Alura are playing in the pool together, splashing about, and swimming from one side of the pool to the other, laughing and giggling the whole time. Eliza is somewhere inside the villa, relaxing as she reads another book. Then Lena and Morgan are both laying together, cuddled, on one of the sun loungers. Thankfully, Lena and Morgan are actually laying under a sun lounger umbrella, so they are not in the sun, which would be very hot and uncomfortable, especially with the position that they are currently laying in. Morgan is really cuddled up to Lena, and resting her head on the CEO's chest, so if they were actually laying in the sun like this, things would be very hot and sweaty, for both of them. But seeing as they are in some shade, Lena and Morgan are both happy to lay like this, and just have a little snooze together. This isn't really something that Lena has ever done before, as she is not the type of person to usually just be lazy during a day, and have a nap or something. Of course, Lena is also not the type of person to go on holiday in the first place, so this experience is all very new to her. But as Lena lays here with Morgan, with the two of them dozing, she does recognise how amazing and nice this is, and thinks that she should certainly try and make a habit out of doing this more often in the future.
"Momma?" Morgan eventually mumbles.
"Hmmm.... yes darling?" Lena replies, in a tired voice, as she has been drifting in and out of sleep.
"When are we going home?" Morgan asks.
"Not tomorrow, but the day after." Lena explains.
"Hmmm.... okay." Morgan replies, with a nod of her head.
"Why? Are you looking forward to going home?" Lena asks.
"No." Morgan says, "Well..... I am looking forward to being in our home again. But I just wanted to know when we are going home, because I like doing this with you. And we don't get to do this at home."
"What's that? Snuggle together in the middle of the day?" Lena asks.
"Yeah, and sleep together." Morgan replies, with a little nod of her head.
