A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 337 - Eliza's Teenage Kara Stories

Back at Kara and Lena's home, the family have decided to just have a very relaxing day today, as frankly they deserve it, especially Kara and Lena. However, with that said, Kara and Lena are well aware that come tomorrow they will both need to jump back into things, as saving Sam doesn't mean that everything is fixed and they can now go back to their normal lives, with their family and children. Both Reign and Leviathan are still out there, and more dangerous than ever. Fact is, with Reigns now seemingly enhanced powers, Kara is unsure if she would even stand a chance against her in a fight. Already when Kara previously fought Reign, Reign had the upper hand, not because her powers were more enhanced than Kara's, but because they were evenly matched on powers, but Reign's fighting abilities were just much more enhanced than Kara's, with all that knowledge being inserted into Reign's brain, which does seem to be unfair. However, there is absolutely nothing they can do about any of that now, all they will be able to do is face the fight with Reign, and Leviathan, head on. Lena, for her part, hopes that maybe Reign now has some sort of weakness, or problem, because of the exposure to the harun-el being injected into her body, even if it may have enhanced her powers. So, Lena knows she and Lillian will have to continue to look over a bunch of data to try and figure all that out, and just why exactly the harun-el seemed to enhance Reign's powers. That said though, really the why of the matter isn't important currently. They already know it to be true, so the more important thing is to figure out how to stop Reign, with her enhanced powers.

With the upcoming fights with both Reign and Leviathan, Kara and Lena are both worried about the safety of everyone, including their children. They have literally already seen J'onn and Alex be badly injured, and Sam almost die, because of this fight with Leviathan and Reign. So, the prospect of their children being caught in the crosshairs of things is absolutely terrifying, and worries the two wives so much. The only real solace Kara and Lena can take is they know that with Elizabeth, Eliza and now Alura by their children's side, those three grandmas will protect the girls with their lives, with Alura now having kryptonian powers, and Elizabeth retaining her fighting abilities from when she was a servant to Leviathan. Despite this though, Kara and Lena know they need to put a permanent end to Leviathan and Reign, so their children will always be safe, and they don't have to rely on other people, or themselves, to protect their children from potential harm.

Right now Kara, Lena, Morgan, both Alura's, Lori, Eliza and Elizabeth are all sitting in Kara and Lena's living room. Kara and Lena think that they are pretty lucky to have such a large living room, that can fit their entire family like this, a family which they know will grow in the future, with the addition of Alexander in a few years time, who Kara will give birth to. For now though, Kara and Lena are simply enjoying being here with their family, being surrounded by them, with Kara and Lena taking turns to hold Lori in their arms. Kara and Lena just know how lucky they are to have this family, and it's certainly something worth fighting for. It might just be the best weapon they have, because unlike Reign, or Leviathan, Kara and Lena have this family, which not only is something worth fighting for, but something worth dying for too. Kara and Lena would do absolutely anything to protect their family, their children, and while Leviathan and Reign may be ruthless, and willing to do anything, they don't have anything to fight for like they do, just their own personal motivations. So, that is what will ultimately give Kara, Lena, and all their friends and family who will fight with them, an edge, as family is a very powerful force, one that Leviathan and Reign will soon realise they should have never interfered with.

"So, Alura." Eliza says, looking at Kara's mom, "When Kara was a child, did she always have that tell when she was lying about something?"

"You mean how she'd scrunch up her face, and grow a bit of a crinkle between her eyebrows?" Alura replies, with a smile.

"Oh my god, yes!" Eliza says, with a wide smile, and a chuckle.

Alura chuckles along with Eliza, the two women who raised Kara now getting to know one another, which is a nice sight to see, even if it is with a little bit of teasing of Kara. Kara is happy to put up with it though, she's glad that her birth mom, and the mom who adopted her when she came to Earth, can chat like this. This is something Kara would have never thought would have been possible, even in her wildest dreams.
