"How..... how are you alive?" Kara asks, with a shocked expression on her face, as she parts from her hug with her mother, her birth mother.

"Your father created a shield to protect Argo when Krypton exploded." Alura explains, "We would have never sent you away if we had know it would work. I thought you were dead..... I don't understand..... I saw your pod get knocked into the phantom zone."

"I was stuck there for years but somehow my pod go loose and I fell to Earth with Kal-El." Kara says.

"Kal made it? He's alive?" Alura says, in another surprised voice.

"Yes.... he got there first..... years before me." Kara explains, "If.... if I had known..... if I had known that Argo was here, and you were still alive, I never would have stopped searching for you."

Alura just gives Kara a sad look on her face upon her daughter saying that. However, Alura now glances behind Kara, looking directly at Lena, who has just been standing there in silence for the last few moments, allowing her wife to take this moment in herself. After all, Lena has so much experience with what Kara is going through right now. Lena though her own birth mom was dead, and now she's alive. So, Lena only thinks it's fair Kara gets her turn to experience that, and she is so happy for you.

"Hello, you came here with my daughter, who are you?" Alura asks, politely, as she looks at Lena.

"Hello." Lena says, nervously, as she steps forward, to Kara's side, realising this is a moment where she is meeting her wife's birth mother for the first time, "I'm Lena. Lena Luthor."

Lena now sticks her hand out for Alura to shake, not knowing what else to do. Alura soon accepts Lena's hand, and shakes it back. However, as Lena shakes Alura's hand, the cloak that she is wearing slightly moves, revealing Lena's suit underneath, and most specially, the House of El seal.

"You wear the House of El crest on your chest." Alura says, in a bit of a surprised voice, as she and Lena stop shaking hands.

Lena now looks at Kara nervously, not knowing what she should say now.

"She does, mom." Kara says, "Lena is a member of our house, a member of the House of El. Lena is my wife."

Alura's eyes now widen at Kara saying that to her.

"You're married? You.... you have a wife?" Alura says, in a surprised voice.

"Yes, I am." Kara smiles, still with some tears in her eyes, as she glances towards Lena.

"Oh my. Come here then." Alura says to Lena, and quickly takes her in for a hug.

Lena is a little surprised by Alura hugging her like this, but she soon accepts the hug, and melts into it, hugging Kara's mom back, being glad that Alura has no problem with Kara having married a woman from Earth. This is purely just very nice. After a few moments, Lena and Alura do part from their hug, with Kara now growing a very wide smile on her face. Kara never thought a moment like this would be possible, her wife meeting her birth mom, but now she has literally just seen it before her own eyes.

After a few more moments of Alura just looking at Kara and Lena, Kara's mom soon grows a confused look on her face.

"I.... don't understand.... if you did not come here.... searching for me.... then why are you here?" Alura asks.

"Right." Kara says, nodding her head, realising they need to get back on task, even though this is one of the best days of Kara's life, "Earth is in trouble. We came here looking for a material. A material that might be able to help us save our friend. Before Krypton exploded, the children of juru sent worldkillers to Earth, three of them. Two of them where killed by..... an evil group of people on Earth, but the third one, Reign, has just taken over our friend's body, Sam. We have seen though, this group who killed the two other worldkillers, had this weapon, this sword, that was actually able to harm Reign. Lena was able to figure out what the sword was made from, and then locate it out here, at these coordinates. Our hope is that we can use this material, and find more out about it, to help save our friend."
