A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 243 - Heading to Disneyland Paris

It is now the following day. The day after the women's world cup final, and more importantly, the day after Alex and Sam's wedding. However, for Alura, today is a much more important day. As today is the day that Kara, Eliza and Lena are going to be taking Alura, Morgan and Ruby to Disneyland Paris, and give Alex and Sam some alone time, to actually properly celebrate their marriage, in a rather adult way.

Last night, after the world cup final finished, the group stayed at the stadium, in their box, only for another 10 minutes, deciding they'd let the chaos of leaving the stadium die down a bit. But they didn't stay any longer than that, as ultimately they were all running on fumes by this point, as they'd been up for well over 16 hours, and bar Kara, Morgan and Alura, none of them had a nap or anything. However, before they did leave the box, Morgan basically begged Kara and Lena to get her some more blackcurrant juice, as the little girl truly loves it, and seeing as Morgan never asks them for anything, Kara and Lena were happy to oblige, and basically emptied the fridge of the blackcurrant juice it had in it.

Once the group left the stadium, they were driven back to their hotel, and on the car ride over, Morgan, Alura and Ruby all fell asleep, with Kara, Eliza, and Alex carrying the three girls up into their hotel rooms, and putting them to bed, before going to bed themselves. Needless to say, it didn't take any of them very long to fall asleep, as they were truly exhausted from how much they packed into their day, both emotionally, and physically.

Right now though, everyone is just waking up, and Kara, Lena and Eliza know that today, and the day after, which they will be spending in Disneyland Paris, will likely be even more of an exhausting day than yesterday, as they will be doing so much walking around, and standing up, as they walk around the two Disney Parks, and queue up to ride the various rides. That said though, the adults are more than willing to do this, because they know that it is something that the kids will all enjoy so much, and it's not like they won't enjoy it too. That is what is so special about Disneyland. Even though it doesn't have any adult rides, it is still a place where adults can have fun by themselves, even if they do not have kids.

"Momma, mommy! Wake up!" Alura says, running into Kara and Lena's bedroom, and jumping on the bed.

"Alura." Lena groans.

"Wake up! We are going to Disney today! The sooner we leave, the more time we get to spend in Disney!" Alura says, excitedly.

"Alura....." Lena begins.

"I've been good for two days of waiting! Please, let's go." Alura says.

Lena can't help but feel her hearts strings be pulled a little bit at Alura saying that, as the young girl is right, she has been good these last few days, and hasn't brought up going to Disney once.

"Come here you little munchkin." Kara says, and quickly wrestles Alura under the covers, planting kisses all over her face, with Alura giggling in happiness.

Kara and Alura continue to play for the next few minutes, with the blonde just hugging her daughter tightly against her chest, and giving her more kisses. The sight puts a happy smile on Lena's face.

"Okay, okay, you two." Lena eventually says, "Alura, you are right. You have been a very good girl these past few days. So, let's just get ready, and grab our things, so we can go to one of the Disneyland Paris hotels, and get into the parks there."

"YESSSSSSSSSS!!!" Alura says, excitedly, and jumps from Kara to Lena, taking the CEO in for a hug, "I love you momma."

"I love you too, my darling." Lena replies, as she hugs her daughter back, "But just remember, you do have to be a little bit more patient. We are not going to sit around and do nothing, and waste time where we could be going to Disney. But we are going to be leaving Sam and Alex today, so, this might take a while for everyone to be ready, and have their things. Plus, Ruby might just want to spend a few minutes with her moms alone, to say goodbye to them. As you would want to do that if you were not going to see me or your mommy for a day, wouldn't you?"
