A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 252 - Reign Supreme

It is now the following day, and the family are all heading back to the airport, to board Lena's private jet, so they can go back home to National City. For everyone, this nice little few day break in Paris has really been nice. It may have seemed like it has gone on much longer, but they have literally only been here in Paris for 4 days. They just managed to pack a whole load into those 4 days, including, touring the city, shopping, Sam and Alex getting married, going to the women's world cup final, and then spending 2 whole days in Disneyland. They really did do a lot.

Of course, now that they are leaving Disneyland behind, Alura is pretty sad about it all. Morgan too, but not as much as Alura is. After all, Alura has been in this situation before, and Kara and Lena just think that because of that, Alura knows how much she loves Disneyland, and wants to go back.

"Momma?" Alura asks, as she sits in a car being driven to the airport, which has Kara, Lena, Morgan and herself in it. Ruby, Sam, Eliza and Alex are in a second car following them.

"Yes, darling?" Lena replies, as she turns around in her seat to look back at Alura.

"When can we go back to Disney?" Alura asks.

Lena and Kara both chuckle at Alura asking Lena that.

"We literally just left, Alura." Kara says.

"I know. But I want to go back." Alura says, "I love Disneyland!"

"Me too!" Morgan says, speaking up.

Kara and Lena then turn to look at each other, with smiles on their faces, happy that their two daughters love going to Disney. Kara and Lena each know that going to the parks is an experience that most kids really treasure.

"I don't know, Alura." Lena eventually answers.

"Awwww." Alura moans.

"Alura, momma is going to be giving birth soon. You are going to have a new brother or sister." Kara says, "We will have to take some time to get used to that first. So, perhaps we can go back to Disney this time next year, for the summer holiday."

"But that is forever away." Alura moans.

Kara now laughs.

"It will come sooner than you think." Kara says, "We have so many things that are going to fill our year. In a few weeks time we will be moving into our new home, then in a few months time you'll get a new brother or sister, and that will occupy you for some time. Then, before you know it, it will be Christmas, and that will occupy your time. Then, once all that is over, it will only be a few months until summer again. You'll see. It will go by really quickly."

"Okay." Alura eventually says, reluctantly.

"Good girl." Lena says.

"When are we moving into our new home?" Morgan now asks.

"I'm not too sure on an exact date yet, darling." Lena answers, "Some of the work being done to the house isn't finished yet, and we won't move in until the work is finished. But my hope is that it will be finished within these next few weeks."

"Okay." Morgan says.

"I have to say, I'm very much looking forward to all the space we will have when we move into our house." Lena says, "I think it will be nice for you two girls just to have a lot of room outside to run around, and not worry about being in public, or being seen. I think also, once this baby is born, mommy and I will get back to helping the two of you control your powers, so that you won't have to wear your bracelets any more. I think that this time things will be a bit easier, seeing as I'm becoming a Kryptonian, with powers, too."
