Chapter 396 - Reign's Finished Style

For the last 30 minutes or so, Reign has been trying on a bunch of different types of outfits just to see what style best suits her, and what types of styles she actually wants herself to have. So far, this has actually been the most uncomfortable part of this whole makeover experience that Reign has gone through thus far, which might seem a bit weird in regards to Reign, as the application of makeup, and the restyling of her hair may seem to be more 'extreme' measures than just a simple change of clothing. However, Reign is the type of person who has worn clothing for the simple benefit of being ideal for combat purposes, or pretending to be Samantha Arias. Reign has never really chosen outfits depending on what she personally likes the style of, and not thinking about the outfits practical uses in a combat situation, like she thinks about when she thinks about her worldkiller suit that Leviathan created for her. Then, at the same time, another of the factors which the styles have told her to take into account, is just how comfortable she feels in each of these outfits, and that has certainly never been something Reign has thought about, or has been programmed into her mind as a worldkiller. Then, the stylists also don't just mean comfort from a standpoint of how the clothes feel on your skin, making sure they don't feel rough, or poke into you, and make you physically feel uncomfortable. The stylists have also told Reign to think about her comfort levels depending on how willing she is to be seen in certain outfits. When the stylists first said this to Reign, the worldkiller honestly had no idea what they were talking about. So, that is when the stylist explained that some women are not comfortable wearing clothes that show a lot of skin, or are tight on them are very much reveal the nature of their body, or show off their breasts, or other parts of their body, while some other women are comfortable with that, then there is also an in between of those two groups with some women only being comfortable wearing certain 'revealing' outfits and not others. For Reign, this idea of being uneasy with wearing certain outfits is a whole new concept to her, because that has never been a thing in her mind, likely due to her kryptonian worldkiller nature. However, after thinking a little bit on the fact, Reign does have knowledge, from Samantha Arias' own memories and thoughts that she still partly retrains, that the female CFO is very much not comfortable wearing clothing that is too revealing of her body. The most extreme that Sam is actually willing to go to, is wearing some tight trousers which show off her ass, and maybe wearing a crop top that shows her belly button and maybe is a little tight on her breasts, but that is it, nothing really more than that.

During this style session Reign does have to think, a lot, about how revealing she wants her clothing to be, as at first when it was clear to her what the stylist were talking about, Reign did not think she cared one bit about wearing really revealing clothes, and showing off her perfectly created worldkiller body, at least in her mind, but then, the more Reign thought on the matter, the more other thoughts began to creep in her mind, which may have partly been influenced by Samantha Arias' own thoughts and memories. Reign thought about the fact that from Sam's mind Reign is aware that some women who wear really really revealing clothes in certain situations are basically seen as 'sluts' or other names of that nature, with society just seeing them as wearing revealing clothes in a situation that is not appropriate just because they want attention and want to show off their body. An example of this might be a woman walking into a supermarket wearing a thong bikini and a bikini bra that basically barely covers her nipples. This type of outfight would be 100% okay for her to wear around the pool, or at the beach or something, but to wear something so revealing in a place such as a supermarket is certainly seen as being very trashes. So, upon thinking about that, Reign actually realises that while she is proud of her body, and thinks she is a goddess, she does not want to be seen as trashy, wearing revealing outfits all the time. This thought actually surprises Reign a little bit, as she thinks about why would she care about what other humans think of her, as she never has before. However, in Reign's mind, she just puts this down to the fact that she must care about it because if she wears revealing outfits, then more attention will be on her, and that is not an ideal situation when she is doing all this to try and blend in, and not stand out and potentially be noticed by Leviathan or Supergirl and her friends. Even though Reign has had these thoughts though, at the same time, she does not want to wear some really conservative outfits, which don't show off any of her body, and are just boring, as at the end of the day, Reign is proud that she is a beautiful women, and doesn't think that her body should be completely covered up just because there is a part of society, mostly the religious sort, who believe women's bodies should be covered completely. So, with this in mind, Reign thinks that she needs to come up with a happy in between, of wearing revealing clothes, but not too revealing, with the revealing nature of her clothes also likely depending on the situation she is in.
