A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 223 - Alura & Morgan Find Out

Kara, Lena, Alura and Morgan now all arrive back home to their penthouse, and as they do, both Kara and Lena are a little nervous. The reason that they are nervous, is simply because they really don't know how Alura and/or Morgan will react to the news that Lena is pregnant, and that Alura and Morgan are going to have a younger sibling within the next 4ish months. However, both Kara and Lena do take hope from the fact that they remember when Alura and Morgan both found out that Lena was upset because she realised that she couldn't have a baby, each of the girls were amazing and loving towards Lena. In fact, it was just after this happened that Morgan came up into Lena and Kara's bedroom, where Lena was laying, and feeling upset, and the 4-year-old then climbed up onto the bed with Lena, gave her belly a hug, and called Lena momma for the first time. It was an amazing moment, even though it was surrounded by sadness. Then, as for Alura, both Kara and Lena are hopeful that the 6-year-old's reaction will be positive as well, simply because she has been absolutely amazing since Morgan became her sister. Honestly, Kara and Lena are not exaggerating when they believe that Alura is honestly the best big sister ever. The young girl has really taken to Morgan, more so than Kara and Lena ever thought she might. Alura has just loved Morgan for everything, and is mostly inseparable from her, it's almost like they have been sisters for years and years. So, Kara and Lena hope that both Morgan and Alura will have similar reactions to finding out that Lena is now pregnant.

"Girls, before you go off and do whatever you want to do, momma and I have something that we need to tell you." Kara says.

Alura and Morgan now grow concerned looks on their faces.

"Is it something bad?" Alura asks, nervously.

"No, darling. It's not something bad at all. In fact, it's wonderful news. Or, at least, mommy and I think it's wonderful news, and hopefully you two will as well." Lena says.

"Okay...." Alura says, in an unsure voice.

"Come on, let's go sit down on the couches, and we can explain everything to you." Kara suggests.

"Okay." Morgan nods.

Kara, Lena, Alura and Morgan then all make their way over to the couches, with Kara and Lena each deciding to sit either end of one of the couches, as Morgan and Alura sit on the same couch with them, in between their two parents.

"Okay, so firstly, before we tell you the news, you both should know that this morning, I actually wasn't feeling very well." Lena says.

"What?! Are you okay?!" Morgan quickly asks, in a worried voice.

"I'm fine now, darling." Lena says, as she reaches to lovingly cup one of Morgan's cheeks, "I promise."

Morgan nervously nods her head in response to this, while leaning into Lena's touch.

"Anyway, this morning I was sick, and I did throw up. That is actually what I had been doing this morning when you tried to come into our bathroom, Morgan. Jeju and I just didn't want you to see, and then worry about me being sick." Lena explains.

"But you are okay now?" Alura asks, now in her own concerned voice.

"Yes I am." Lena nods, with a loving smile, "However, afterwards, I wasn't feeling too great, which is normal for people who have been sick. That is why we had you spend the day with your grandmas today, so neither of you would see me looking ill."

"Yeah, and throughout the day, momma still didn't feel great, and eventually, early this afternoon, when she was with aunt Sam, she fainted." Kara says.

Both Morgan and Alura grow wide-eyed worried looks at Kara saying this.

"I quickly arrived at momma's office, and I took her to aunt Alex, who then was a good doctor and ran all tests on her." Kara says.
