Alex and Kara are now walking back into the living room area of The Tower, where they intend to make a quick pitstop before heading off to one of the medical bay labs, so that Kara can lay under some yellow sun lamps, to recharge a bit more. As the sisters walk into the living room area, they see that Morgan and Ruby are sitting next to each other on one of the couches, with the teenager clearly showing Ruby some sort of game or something on her phone, which the 4-year-old seems to be very interested in, or at least, entertained by. Then, as for everyone else in the room, Elizabeth currently has Lori in her arms, and is looking down at her with so much love and affection, with Eliza and Alura sitting next to each other on a different couch, just cuddling slightly, and chatting a bit. It really is a nice sight to walk in on, as before her Kara sees all her family getting on so well with each other, with Alex seeing the same too with Ruby. It makes Kara think that, at the end of the day, everything they are doing right now, to save Sam, is all to protect this family, to try and preserve what they have, or had, as that is surely worth fighting for. However, admittedly, the thought does cross Kara's mind that she is willing to do anything to protect her family. There is no line Kara wouldn't cross if it meant saving the life of, or protecting, Lena, Lori, Alura or Morgan. It makes Kara think on J'onn's word, and the possibility of crossing that line with Reign, if everything doesn't go as planned, or something else happens. However, Kara is going to try and not thinking about those thoughts right now, and she certainly is not going to voice them to her sister, who would likely freak out at the shear mention of them.

"Mommy!" Morgan says, now looking up from Ruby's phone, jumping off the chair, and running over to Kara.

Kara grows a smile on her face at Morgan doing this, and it makes her think about how sad she does feel for Morgan, even if they young girl does not know what happened, that her mom died yesterday. Hearing Morgan say that word, call her mommy, makes Kara feel bad in a way, because it makes her feel like she is taking something from Vivienne. However, Kara also knows that Morgan doesn't deserve to have any negative effects put on her, simply because of everything in Kara's own head. So, Kara dismisses those thoughts as well, and takes Morgan in for a hug.

"Hello, baby." Kara smiles, "What's this for? You only saw me a few minutes ago."

"I know. I just wanted a cuddle, mommy." Morgan says, cutely, as she cuddles Kara around her neck.

"Well, you can get a cuddle from me anytime." Kara smiles.

Admittedly, these words from Kara to make her think how tough it might be on the girls for both her and Lena to leave for a day or so, to go out into space to find this material, to potentially save Sam.

"Love you, mommy." Morgan says.

"I love you too, my special little girl." Kara says, as she places a kiss on the top of the purple-eyed girl's head.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in The Tower, Lillian and Lena have just arrived at one of the labs in The Tower, with the mother and daughter now planning to make all the preparations to assist Kara and Lena with their trip off into space. Lena knows that more than anything, what they really need is some way to extract the material, and contain it. Lena knows they can't bring a big massive drill or anything, so they will have to figure something out that's more compact. Plus, on top of all that, they will need to create something to securely store the material, as there is no point going all that way out into space to get the material, only to then have it damaged or destroyed in transit back towards Earth.

"Okay, dear, what do you think our first step should be?" Lillian asks Lena.

"Well, we need to create a sort of handheld device to extract the material, possibly from rock, and also scan for a more precise location of where the material might be. Then, we need to create a storage area where we can securely put the material in J'onn's spaceship, on our way back to Earth, and make sure it isn't damaged or anything." Lena explains.
