Kara, Lena and Lori have now just arrived at a baby store, and are looking down all the aisles to see what they need for Lori. As they have been browsing the aisles, they have booth seen more and more stuff that they didn't even think about buying, but have decided to get it. This includes a diaper changing station, some toys to hang above Lori's cot, a Caboo baby carrier, and a few other items. On top of this, Kara and Lena have also put a lot of diapers, clothes, a few different breast pumps, which Lena will try, and some other items that they already knew they needed into their shopping trolley. The reason they have decided they'd get a few different types of breast pumps is that on the way to the store, while Kara was driving, Lena did some research on breast pumps, wanting to get the best one possible, as to not make her breasts hurt even more than they already do. Upon doing this research Lena found that women were saying that there really isn't a single brand of breast pump which can be considered the best, as it will be different for every woman, depending on their breast size and shape, and also how sensitive their nipples are. So, Lena has ultimately decided they'll buy a few different types to try, and once she settles on the pump she likes the most, she will clean the other breast pumps, and then donate it to charity, as Lena is well aware that a lot of new mothers on low income struggle to afford to buy breast pumps. After all, for Lena, money is not an issue in her case, so she can really splurge on things like this, and even justify it by think that if she doesn't like it, or they don't end up using it, they can always donate it to charity.

"We also need a proper car seat for Lori." Kara says, as they continue to walk through the store, "The one we put here in coming here really just isn't a proper car seat for a baby."

"Yes. Agreed." Lena nods, "That seat is for Morgan, and Morgan is a lot bigger than Lori, so of course Lori will need a proper one. Let's go have a look at the seats now."

"Sure." Kara nods, with the blonde now pushing the trolley in that direction, with Lena following Kara, holding Lori in her arms.

"I can't help but think we are forgetting about something." Lena says, as they continue to walk in the direction of where the baby seats are.

"Don't worry, Lee. We can have another walk down every aisle of this store, and look at everything again, to make sure we haven't forgot anything." Kara says.

"Okay." Lena nods.

As the trio continue to head towards the car seats, they walk past the baby food aisle, this catches Lena's eyes.

"Oh, do we need to get Lori some baby food?" Lena asks.

"No." Kara says, with a smile, "We can come back and get that in a few months. She won't start to eat baby food for about 6 months."

"Oh..." Lena says, in a disappointed voice, but only because she feels like a bit of a failure as a mother again, not knowing that.

Kara notices Lena's look.

"Don't worry, Lee. You are getting it." Kara says, with a caring smile.

Kara and Lena soon arrive at the baby seats for Lori, and they spend a good 10 minutes trying to pick the perfect one for Lori. Of course, Kara and Lena really don't care about the looks of the car seat, they just want the safest model for Lori. So, to decide this, Lena does some googling online of what car seat is rated as the safest for a baby, while Kara takes Lori in her arms and puts her in multiple car seats that are on display to just test it out. Kara is well aware that it is one thing to get the safest car seat, it is another thing to be able to know how to actually do up the car seat, as sometimes they can be rather complicated to both install into a car, and also do the seatbelt up of as well.

Eventually, after much contemplation and research, Kara and Lena settle on the car seat which was the second most expensive out of the lot, with that one being the one that seems to have the most positive reviews. Plus, Lori seemed to fit into the seat rather well too, and it had room for the seat to actually be used for the next few years, as Lori continues to grow, the only thing that Kara and Lena would have to do to accommodate Lori's growth, is by losing the seatbelt straps, and even changing them when Lori grows big enough. However, the latter won't be for a while yet.
