"So....... what..... do we do now?" Alexander soon asks his two mothers.

"We find a way to send you home." J'onn now says, coming walking over to Kara, Lena and Alexander.

"J'onn!" Lena says, "Are you alright?"

"Yes. I'm doing better." J'onn nods, although it's clear that he's not at 100% right now, "And I'm glad you are looking much better now too, Kara."

"Thank you." Kara nods, with a small smile, "But, what happened to you in that fight? What did that arrow do to you?"

"It overwhelmed my psychic abilities." J'onn explains, "My mind was full of my worst fears, and the worst things that have happened to me in my life. I was essentially trapped in a cycle of pain, fear, and death. It made me unable to move, and manifested itself as physical pain too."

"How does Reign have something like that?" Lena now asks.

"It wasn't Reign." J'onn says.

"What?" Lena asks, confused, "We.... we didn't really get to see most of the fight here at the DEO. Winn was switching between CCTV cameras. But.... I thought it was Reign you were fighting."

"It was." J'onn nods, "But a member of Leviathan then appeared. From how Lillian has previously described her, I believe the Leviathan agent was Nyssa Al-Ghul."

"And..... she came there to shoot you with that arrow?" Lena asks, in another confused voice.

"Yes. And she brought that sword with her, which seemed to do harm to Reign." J'onn explains.

"So..... are you saying..... she was there to try and kill Reign? That would mean..... that would mean Leviathan knew about Reign before this happened..... They were ready for it." Lena says.

"Yes.... and for some reason they wanted to kill her now." J'onn says.

"Then..... we need to find out more about this. We need to find out more about Reign, about these world killers, about....... everything. About how Leviathan are involved." Lena says, "I know Alex is devastated by this, but we also have to remember there is a 14-year-old girl who may have just lost her mother. I am the godmother to that young girl, who I love, so much, and I'm going to do everything in my power to see if we can get Sam back. And if not...... make sure this Reign woman pays for what she's done, to Kara, and to Sam."

"Yes. Okay." J'onn nods, "But I think before we do that, we need to get him back to the future."

"I have a name, grandpa J'onn." Alexander says, with a smirk.

"And that is exactly why you cannot stay here." J'onn says, as he turns to look at Alexander, "You being here risks everything. I don't know much about time travel, but Kara has told me what Barry has told her, and on mars our scientists theorised about it. Time travel may not completely unravel the universe, and cause massive black holes due to paradoxes, but it does have consequences. Alexander being here could have completely changed our timeline, and put us on a different course to the one he knows, and therefore change everything. And if it hasn't, then the best thing to do is make sure we limit the amount of knowledge we know about the future from here on out. We don't need to know anything else."

"But.... surely he was always meant to be here. He's alive. He saved me. If he hadn't come...." Kara says, and then trails off.

"Yes. Maybe he was always supposed to be here, and we are living in a casual nexus. But perhaps he wasn't supposed to be here, and Reign just decided not to kill you, or someone else saved you, or a number of other things happened. My point is, we don't know. And we can't risk putting our future, and even his, in danger by knowing more about the future than we are supposed to." J'onn says.
