A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 352 - Reign Wakes

It is now the following day, and Kara, Lena, Morgan, Ruby, Alura and Alura the older have all just arrived at The Tower. It has been decided that it is probably for the best to keep Lori at home, in the excellent dual care of Eliza and Elizabeth, just not to disrupt the newborns environment. Plus, it's not like The Tower is very accommodating for a baby. However, Kara and Lena have brought Morgan and Alura with them to The Tower today, simply because they know that their two oldest daughters will be thrilled to see Lillian again, after not seeing her for a couple of days now, because both Alura and Morgan love grandma Lillian so much. Then, at the same time, Lena and Kara know that Lillian will be happy to see the girls also, especially after they spoke about them yesterday, and Lillian explained how she misses them. On top of this, Kara and Lena have brought Kara's birth mom with them today, just because Kara wants to show Alura more of the stuff she does here on Earth. Of course, Kara has already explained to Alura what she does as a reporter for CatCo, and that is honestly pretty easy to explain. What is not so easy to explain, is what Kara does as Supergirl, both for National City, and Earth. In a way, Kara wants to show her mom that by sending her to this Earth, she did fulfil one of her parents wishes, for her to be a beacon of hope for this planet, as they knew she would have powers her. This is at least one thing she got to fulfil, seeing as she didn't get to fulfil her main purpose of raising Kal, due to arriving on Earth so late after him, but in many ways, Kara thinks that is very much for the better, as if she didn't arrive on Earth when she did, she would not have the family she does now. She would not be married to Lena, have an adoptive mom in Eliza, a sister in Alex, and the daughters of Alura, Morgan and Lori. None the less, Kara still wants to show her mom all the amazing things she and her team do as they fight crime together, and protect the people of Earth, with her leading the charge as Supergirl.

"Where's grandma Lillian?" Morgan asks, as soon as the group step inside The Tower, clearly expecting to see the Luthor matriarch standing there, at the entrance, waiting for them, ready to greet them.

Both Kara and Lena chuckle at Morgan asking them this, knowing it's just coming from a place of Morgan wanting to see Lillian, as she has missed her over these past few days.

"She's probably somewhere further inside The Tower, how about we go find her together?" Lena suggests, as she looks at both Morgan and Alura.

"Okay." Alura nods.

"Yes, okay." Morgan replies.

Lena now holds out her hands, one in the direction of Morgan, and one in Alura's direction, and her two oldest daughters' soon take her hands, and they start to walk further inside The Tower, ready to find Lillian.

"We'll be back in a little bit." Lena says to Kara and Alura, as she and the girls exit The Tower entrance area.

"Okay." Kara nods, with a smile, and soon turns to look at Ruby, "Ruby, why don't you go find your moms, and tell them we are here?"

"Yes, okay." Ruby smiles, happily.

Ruby now leaves the entrance area of The tower meaning that Kara and Alura are now left alone in, and right now, Alura just begins to have a bit more of a closer look around at The Tower. Obviously, Alura has been in here before, while Lena and Lillian were working on the solution with harun-el to save Sam, but as things were so chaotic at the time, Alura didn't get much of a chance to have a proper look around at The Tower.

"So, this is built with Martian technology you say?" Alura soon asks, as she begins to look around more.

"Yeah." Kara nods, "I won't be able to answer any questions about how it was built using Martian technology. You'd have to ask J'onn about that."

"Yes." Alura nods, "I believe I see some design elements similar to that of early krypton, which isn't surprising, several hundred years ago our species travelled to all sorts of different planets, throughout this universe, sharing our technology with them, and helping to uplift various species."
