A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 238 - Afternoon in Paris

It is now about an hour since Kara, Lena, Alura, Morgan, Alex, Sam, Ruby and Eliza left the Arc de Triomphe, and since then, they have made a stop at a nice little French café, where they have had some rather snacky food, including some locally cooked French bread, making some sandwiches and everything. Nothing that is going to fill them up, as their dinner will be in a few hours time, but just something to tide them over, and keep their energy levels up as they get all the more tired the longer they are awake. After this, the group then decide to just take a casual walk down Paris' main shopping street, going into a few shops here and there, with Alex and Sam even buying some outfits that they intend to wear for their small wedding ceremony.

"Speaking of your wedding...." Lena begins, as she walks next to Alex and Sam, after they have just left the most recent shop, with Sam and Alex buying some outfits, "Do you have an ideas to when you'd like to get married?"

Sam and Alex both glance at each other after Lena says this, basically having a silent conversation.

"Well..... we uhhmm...... We have an idea..... but we are not sure if it will be possible, given our timeframe and everything." Sam replies.

"What is it?" Lena asks, "If you tell me, I can see if we can make it happen."

"Well, we thought that if it's okay with you, Kara and Eliza, that the day after Alex and I's wedding, we could just spend alone. A lot of it being in our hotel room. But we also would like to do a few adult things, like, for instance, Alex and I would like to go to the Moulin Rouge club." Sam explains, "So we thought that would be best to do on our second to last day, so we can sleep in on our last day and everything, before meeting up with you all at Disneyland. Meaning that we would have to get married tomorrow."

"Oh." Lena says.

"We know that might be chaotic, and a bit last minute with whatever you have booked for us, for where our wedding will be at." Alex says, "And it also might be an issue squeezing it in between the stuff we want to do tomorrow, and the world cup final in the evening. So, we understand if you can't make it happen, but yeah...."

"Okay." Lena nods, taking all that information in, "Well, I'll call the place I've put on hold for your wedding, and see what they can do. I think that maybe we might be able to fit everything in tomorrow, even with your wedding, and everything else we plan to do. We could get an early start at around 8, go out and have a nice French breakfast, and then go straight to the Eiffel Tower. That will probably take us to around lunch time, if not, before then, and we can have lunch, fit in a few more activities we want to do, then make our way back to our hotel for around 3PM. You can then get ready, and we could leave for your wedding venue, with the wedding being around 5PM. The final doesn't start until 8PM, so we won't need to get there until like 7:30, as we have a private box, so I think we'll have plenty of time to fit everything in. How does that sound? I know it might be a bit chaotic, and not the ideal relaxed day for your wedding, but would that be okay?"

Alex and Sam once more look at each other.

"Yeah, that sounds good to me." Sam says.

"Agreed." Alex nods, "It might be a bit chaotic, like you said, but I think it will be very us. Plus, it will mean that our wedding won't take up too much of our holiday for all of you guys."

"Okay then." Lena nods, "When we get back to the hotel, I'll phone up the place I've put on hold, and see if we can do your wedding at around 5PM tomorrow. How does that sound?"

"Good." Sam smiles.

"Yeah, sounds great." Alex smiles back.

"Alright then." Lena smiles.
