For the next few moments, Kara just looks on, not saying a word, as she sees Nia, and the Leviathan shadow woman standing there. However, Kara knows the shadow woman isn't just any normal Leviathan agent, this is also the mother of Morgan. Kara can see the resemblance in the woman's face. Then, as Kara continues to look at Morgan's mother, a strong amount of anxiety just builds up within her stomach, and she truly feels a bit sick. The reason for these feelings are pretty simple, Morgan's birth mother is actually alive, meaning that there really, truly, is a distinct possibility that she and Lena will lose Morgan, as she could go and live with her birth mother, not her adoptive family. The very thought of this basically destroys Kara on the inside emotionally. Kara doesn't want to lose Morgan. Kara loves her 4-year-old daughter, with the purple eyes, so very much. Kara would gladly give her own life for Morgan, that is how much she loves her. So, the thought of Morgan not being part of their family any longer, truly makes Kara sick. Then, Kara also knows that Morgan leaving their family would also absolutely devastate both Alura and Lena too. Kara isn't too sure if Alura would actually be able to get over losing a sister like that. However, even with all these thoughts floating through Kara's head, she knows that Morgan's mother isn't here right now to take Morgan away. Morgan's mother is here because she is going to help Nia save her sister and mother, and she has agreed to come along with them, powers or not. Kara knows she can't make this about herself, and how she is feeling about seeing Morgan's birth mother, this is all about Nia, and saving her family.
"H...hello." Kara says, stammering slightly, as she takes a step closer to Nia, and Morgan's mom.
"Hello." Morgan's mom says, after a moments silence.
"Wh.... May I ask what your name is?" Kara asks, nervously.
Morgan's mother narrows her eyes at Kara asking her this.
"Vivienne." Morgan's mother says, after another moments silence.
"Okay, Vivienne." Kara says, swallowing slightly, "I uhhmmmm..... I..... I just want to say..... my wife and I..... we..... we have been taking good care of your daughter, Morgan. And.... I don't know if....."
"We can discuss that another time." Vivienne says, cutting Kara off, "Today my only aim is to help the dreamer save her family. My family can wait for another day..... a day when.... Leviathan no longer has a mental leash over me..... which..... I have to struggle to break free of.... for a time.... like I am doing now."
"I uhh..... okay...." Kara replies, still feeling nervous, "But.... you should know... Morgan.... she is happy.... and healthy..... and we treat her life our own, and give her all the love in the world."
"I know." Vivienne says, growing a small smirk on her face, "I have seen it. And.... I thank you for it. I thank you for caring for my daughter."
"How have you...." Kara begins.
"We do not have time for more questions." Vivienne now says, "Time is of the essence. We must act now, we only have a small window when we can do this today."
"Right.... of course." Kara says, once more realising that today isn't about her, and her family, but Nia, and Nia's family.
"What.... do you intend to do?" Nia now asks, "How.... are we going to get to my mom and sister?"
"I will teleport the both of you there." Vivienne explains, "I will then lead you to your family."
"Why.... couldn't you just teleport Nia's family out now, without us going to Leviathan?" Kara asks, with this thought coming into her head.
"Because.... the area where the dreamer's family is being kept, is well lit. It means my powers.... to teleport.... are not possible. To teleport them out of the Leviathan base, I would have to move them first, and I cannot do that on my own, without being noticed." Vivienne explains.
