It is now the end of the week, Friday, and over the last few days Lena has really noticed that her belly is truly starting to show, both physically, and in her clothes size. Lena has noticed that her standard bras are now just a bit tighter than they usually are, and also some of her trousers are too tight to put on too, even just on the hips. So, due to all that, Lena truly knows that now her pregnancy is at the point where she will have to publicly make an announcement of some sort within the next few days. Lena thought that maybe she would have a few weeks before she reached this point, but it seems the Kryptonian rate of pregnancy has had other ideas. Therefore, because of all this, Lena has decided that the best thing she can do is have CatCo write an article about her pregnancy. Of course, Lena could have done an interview or something, but she thought that offered to put more of her personal life out there than she is willing to allow, whereas an interview can just stick to the questions. Obviously, given the conflict of interest, Lena can't have her favourite reporter do the interview, so she has spoken with Kara, and together they have decided to have Nia do the interview, and write the article afterwards. This, of course, would be Nia's first article, which will be published, that Kara will have no supervision over, even though she still is taking Nia under her wing at work. Lena and Kara don't want to make it seem, to the outside world, that they are controlling the narrative of the article by having Kara supervise it. However, they have not asked Nia to do the article yet, but they will in a few moments time, as Kara and Lena are just arriving at The Tower, ready for Lena to have her check up with Lillian and Alex, to check on the rate of the pregnancy, and Lena's own Kryptonian status. Nia will also be joining them soon, as today Nia was at CatCo, while Kara got to work from home, so they are not arriving together at this moment.
Even though Kara got to work from home today, Morgan and Alura did not spend the day with her. Kara also had to do a few interviews around the city, while also doing a few minor things as Supergirl, so Alura and Morgan were once more left in the excellent care of Lillian and Elizabeth, who are more than happy to spend as much time with their granddaughters as possible. Kara, of course, did stop in to have lunch with Morgan, Elizabeth, Lillian and Alura though, but it was only brief, as she was called away by a Supergirl thing about 15 minutes after arriving.
As Lena and Kara walk into The Tower, they hear sounds of Morgan and Alura giggling, which are always happy sounds for the two parents to hear. It's great to see that Morgan and Alura are continuing to have a good time at The Tower, even though they have been spending a lot of time here recently.
Kara and Lena walk further into The Tower, making their way into the sort of living room area of The Tower, where they know Morgan, Alura and the two grandparents will be, and that is when they see what Morgan and Alura were giggling at this time. Right now, Morgan and Alura are both sitting on a couch, next to Alex, who has an arm wrapped around each of them, and is giving them kisses everywhere, in turns, and Morgan and Alura are just giggling playfully at that, making no effort to even try and escape their aunt's grasp. Lillian and Elizabeth are then sitting on single chairs facing the couch, with smiles on their faces. As Kara and Lena watch this sight, they are so happy to see their two daughters getting on with Alex so well, particularly Morgan. Alura has always absolutely loved Alex, and she has spent a lot of time with her, particularly when Alura was a baby and Alex was helping Kara, but that isn't the same for Morgan. Morgan still very clearly loves Alex, as she does with most people she gets to meet, it's just Morgan and Alex haven't really got to spend any quality time together to bond. Right now though, Kara and Lena can see that Morgan and Alex have a strong bond none the less, a bond full of love, and what more could they ask for?
"Hello girls." Kara smiles, announcing herself and Lena.
Alex now finally releases Morgan and Alura, and they all turn to look at Kara and Lena.
