It is now a few hours later, and Kara has finally been able to get out of bed, which has allowed Lena to be put under the yellow sun lamps, to help her recover from giving birth to Lori. Of course, when they put Lena under the yellow sun lamps at first, Lillian, Eliza, and Alex, were all very cautious, because they don't have 100% conclusive results that Lena is fully Kryptonian, even though Alex is confident Lena now is, from the minor tests she was able to run while Lena was in labour. However, even with this in mind, Lillian, Eliza and Alex still had to be careful when putting Lena under the yellow sun lamps because this is completely new territory for them. After all, Kara does respond well to the yellow sun lamps, and they are just presuming that now Lena is basically a Kryptonian the same will happen to her. But there is a big difference between Kara and Lena. Kara was born a Kryptonian, and has always been a Kryptonian. Lena was born a human, and only now has become a Kryptonian, so they shouldn't presume that Lena will respond the exact same way that Kara and Clark do to things. That would be foolish, and somewhat dangerous. So, for the first few minutes Lena was under the yellow sun lamps, Alex, Eliza and Lillian monitored Lena closely, with baited breath, checking her vitals, and making sure to talk with Lena the whole time, wanting her to tell them if she starts to feel like there is something wrong. After all, while a human won't die being under the yellow sun lamps for a few minutes, it would give them a real nasty sun burn, and if they were under for much longer, then it really could harm them, and potentially kill them too, but the human would be able to tell that long before it happens. Thankfully for Lena, after a couple of minutes of the brunette being under the yellow sun lamps, the group could all tell that Lena was starting to look better, and therefore responding well to the yellow sun lamps. Lena was getting a healthier look on her face. Some of the bags under Lena's eyes were going away, and even Lena's stomach, from being pregnant, has started to shrink slightly. Of course, they don't expect Lena to lose her pregnant belly completely from being under the yellow sun lamps, it will likely take a couple of days, to a week, just like it did for Kara after she gave birth to Alura. But that's certainly better than what any normal human woman experiences.

While Lena continues to soak up some of the yellow sun rays, to heal her body, and just relax, Kara has taken Alura, Morgan, and Lori, into another room, just to give Lena a bit of a break also. Lillian and Eliza have both stayed to monitor Lena, while Alex has gone back to go talk with Ruby, and comfort her. Kara, for her part, has thought about going to Ruby, and introducing her new cousin to her, but she doesn't think that such a good idea, seeing as the last time she tried to speak to Ruby, Ruby yelled at her. For now, Kara thinks it's best if she just sort of stays out of Ruby's way. Kara doesn't want to make Ruby upset or angry again or anything.

"Mommy, is Lori sleeping?" Morgan asks, as they all take a seat in a sleeping quarters in the DEO, which just so happens to be the same sleeping quarters that Kara and Lena shared almost 2 years ago, when Kara first asked Lena to come to the DEO to help save Alura.

"Yes, baby. She's snoozing." Kara smiles, as she looks down at Lori in her arms.

"She's been sleeping a lot." Alura says.

Kara chuckles at Alura saying that, amused that the 6-year-old doesn't realise that babies just sleep all the time like this, not that it's Alura's fault for not knowing that.

"That's what babies do. They sleep a lot of the time." Kara explains, "Over the next few weeks, Lori will probably stop sleeping all the time, and start being awake, but not doing much. It probably won't be for another few months until Lori will start to be able to play with some baby toys and things, and become a bit more aware, but she will still sleep a lot. Babies don't stop sleeping most of the time until they are about a year old. That is when they will mostly just sleep at night, and maybe have a nap during the day sometime."
