Chapter 304 - The Scan Plan

"Winn!" Kara says, now with an annoyed voice, "It's rude to sneak up on people like that!"

"I didn't sneak up on you at all." Winn counters, "I simply walked into The Tower, through the only entrance I, a person without the ability to fly, can enter through. Then, once I did that, I saw you touching your wife. I'm not at fault here."

Kara simply huffs at Winn saying that, because she knows that he's right, which is annoying, because that doesn't make this situation any less awkward.

"Don't worry, darling." Lena says, with a smirk, as she turns to look at Kara, "If Winn here decides to make any further comments, I certainly have a few interesting stories that I have heard from Jess, which I can tell you."

"What?!" Winn says, "No! That's not fair!"

"Oh, but it is." Lena smirks, "But if you are a good little Star Trek fan, then no one will ever have to know."

Winn's eyes literally go wide at Lena mentioning Star Trek, clearly that being something that Lena has heard from Jess, which would be embarrassing for Winn if everyone else found out.

"Okay. Okay. You win. You win. I'm not going to say anything else!" Winn says, putting his hands up in surrender.

"Excellent." Lena smirks, wickedly, "There we go, darling. Now you can touch up my abs all you like, and Winn can't say a single comment about it."

Kara and Winn's eyes both go wide at Lena saying that comment, each for very different reasons. Lena though, sees both Kara and Winn's reactions, and is clearly just having a little fun with them, so she breaks out into a fit of laughter.

"Okay.... That was too good." Lena smirks.

Kara lets out a little huff again, this time because of what her wife has said.

"Oh, don't pout, darling." Lena smirks.

"Hmmm..." Kara replies, "Can we.... can we just get to work on the scan."

"Of course we can." Lena replies, "Seeing as everyone is here now, and I'm sure Alex will be back in in a second, I'll start the video call with J'onn."

"I'll handle that." Winn says, now stepping forward, "J'onn wanted to do the video call through a DEO channel I have set up, just so it's completely secure on his end."

"Ah, okay." Lena nods, allowing Winn to now take control of The Tower computer system, to set up the video call.

Lena now steps back, standing next to her wife, and as Lena does this, she can't help but notice that Kara keeps looking down at her torso. This obviously puts a smile on Lena's face. Lena knows that she and Kara are going to have so much fun the next time they get a chance to just be intimate with each other that way. Lena is well aware of how wild Kara's abs drive her, so she can only image it might be the same for Kara, now that she is starting to get abs. Then, of course, Lena also thinks that the abs are another sign of her increased abilities and metabolism. Lena thinks this is going to help her so much moving forward, as she's literally going to be able to feel like she has so much more energy, and feel less tired at the end of the day from all the work she does. Plus, Lena knows that flight and any increased vision will certainly help her, in many regards. However, the thing that Lena is most happy about, is now that she is starting to get these abilities, and powers, she can be yet another person who can protect their children. Not only do Alura, Morgan and Alura have Supergirl, who will always protect them, and is able to stand in front of them, and stop any bullets from coming their way, but they now have the same in Lena too. After all, more than anything in the world, what Lena wants the most, is for all her children to be protected, and safe, as she knows she and Kara have jobs which can be dangerous at times, both in regards to their jobs as superheroes, or a helper to a superhero, and their normal day jobs too.
